During a family vacation, we passed through the charming little town of Bayfield, which was filled with talented local artists. Nestled in this picturesque historic town was Apostle Island Booksellers, where I had the pleasure of meeting a new friend. It occurred to me that day that I had never read a Stephen King novel, so I decided to embark on a mission to find one. After connecting instantly with Kristen, she offered me some excellent recommendations. I was so thrilled with her suggestions that I ended up purchasing all three of the books she recommended. ❤️

Super cute local bookstore! Stopped in here while on vacation back in Sept 2023. Wasn't sure what I was looking for, but the selections offered were great. I ended up finding a book from an author I had never read before and loved it!

Had the best experience here. Sam, the cashier was very helpful, kind and we enjoyed talking with her. This store has a nice selection of different books. We even discovered this cute little gift set called Good Night Monster. It's a neat little interactive plush and book that encourages creativity with kids and parents and can help with fears children often have, such as the dark or boogeyman under the bed. The "good night monster" is a little guardian. Maybe it'll be the next Santa Claus? Our good night monster shall be Loki. Loved the store and their books. Worth checking out!

Great bookstore with a nicely curated selection including new books and classics worth reading, making it easy to overindulge ?. The store was clean and well organized and the staff were friendly. If you're trying to decide on which bookstore to browse, I prefer this one.

What a lovely little local book shop nestled right in the tourist hustle and bustle of Bayfield. Stopped here on a couple of occasions on a recent trip. It's a small shop but it's brimming with books. On one visit, it was a bit crowded (I like to really linger over shelves of books and felt like it was a bit too busy for that). So I came back a second time when they were a bit less busy.I love when bookshops offer recommendations from their workers--the best! They have a shelf full of fun recommendations and I was able to pick up my next read there. A top notch experience at a top notch local bookseller.Get to it!

This bookstore is so peaceful and tidy! The selection wasn’t stuffed full of recently popular novels- they seemed to have an intentional collection of local authors and stories set in local regions like northern MN, WI and the UP of MI and I appreciated that. A great little spot I could have spent an entire day at!

A quaint little book store. Staff was neither friendly nor rude, just indifferent. Descent selection, but prices are on the high side.
