For 60$ rent, this place is awesome - Neat and clean restroom, comfortable mattress, clean bedding , owner was so polite and friendly, free car parking and WiFi, calm and peaceful ambiance- Definitely will recommend for others and will go back to this place whenever I visit Wisconsin.

I have NEVER been treated so rudely for simply trying to ask a question. They are clearly bothered by their guests. It's very obvious that guests are a dime a dozen to them.

We didn’t have a reservation, just pulled and hoped something was available. Owner showed us the room and was very polite. It did smell stale but he turned on the air conditioner (which is no louder than the window one we have at home) and the room was fresh within minutes. Price and location are great. Mattress is comfortable and for $60 that’s all I expect. If you need contemporary furnishings go down the road and pay double. I’d rather have the extra money for a good meal. I would stay here again.

So I just checked into this hotel and I am going to seriously give a five stars..... The guy at the front desk was so professional and so kind instantly told me the Wi-Fi password told me don't put the key card next to your cell phone very kind comes all the way to my room without me even asking just to show me how the air conditioner works the room is extremely spotless and clean and the bed is super comfortable way better than any hotel/motel in this town..... super amazed

We arrived in town a few hours ahead of schedule and decided to drive to the motel early . We arrived at 11am and there was only 1 car on the property ( so not busy) . We asked if we could check in early and we’re told absolutely not . The owner barely spoke English but , kept saying check in was only 3pm - 8 pm . Very rude too. So we came back at 3 , now the husband was working . I’m not sure if he spoke English or not because he said very little to us , other then “check out is at 10 am “, “no smoking or we will be charged a fee “and was also very rude ! We felt like we were a big burden and very unwelcome . This motel was a dump . The rooms had decor from the 70s and 80s , not one thing was updated . It smelled of mold and dust. The window air conditioner was ancient and loud. All around nasty . It was not good . The next morning at exactly 9:59am the husband called our room to “remind us to check out by 10 am “ (We had already loaded our car !) The worst experience ever . Would not stay here again .

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It's a typical motel but, it was perfect for us as we just needed a place to sleep and shower. We didn't spend much time in the room because we spent our days out exploring beautiful Baraboo. Staff was very polite and respectful. Grounds were clean, room was clean. The best part is Spinning Wheel Motel was so close to everything! I'd definitely stay again.

Stopped at this place at 9 at night and the owner rudely told me they were closed and slammed the door in my face like he couldnt waste his time on a customer. Do not stay here there are better places to stay for cheaper as I hear he likes to jack your price up. And A big thank you to the thunderbird motel for being nice and respectful with a good room.Noteworthy details: Rude very Rude

The only reason that I gave it a 4-Star was because the refrigerator wasn't working, no coffee pot in the room, and the sofa chairs were dusty/musty but overall great customer service, great price, spacious room and comfy bed (great working heater). The motel is in a calm/non-heavy traffic area, there is a Bp gas station/Market place next door, and a Mexican restaurant. I'm a satisfied customer!!!Noteworthy details: The place is beautiful but deep clean it! ?

Basic hotel...no frills. 3 star rating because I am handicapped and needed a room closer to my car and they placed us in the very back last room. I had to walk each time a bit of a distance...it was very hard on me.
