I am a photographer with a lot of experience photographing weddings at Boynton Chapel. It's actually where I photographed my first wedding ever so it always holds a special place in my heart. The chapel itself is small, so that's perfect for an intimate ceremony with close loved ones. There is more room outside to bring in chairs for more people, and you can use the chapel as a beautiful backdrop.

It's a beautiful little chapel. I loved hearing the details of how it was built! I wish there were bathrooms and a place to get ready, but otherwise I absolutely love it.

A great place (if not the perfect place) to visit if you want to see the Stavkirke on Washington Island, but are not able to for whatever reason

Swung through the area and had to stop at this one of a kind Scandinavian style chapel.

I recently played violin for a lovely wedding at Boynton Chapel. It is a small space but very unique and beautiful. I would highly recommend it for an intimate wedding ceremony. (Also, the acoustics were amazing for my violin!)

Only 4 stars because it was not open on the day I went to the property.

Amazing quiet place to enjoy the peacefulness of Door County. Cool place to check out away from the summer crowds.

Boynton Chapel is beautiful! It's off the beaten path, quiet and so picturesque. I could only imagine this being the backdrop of a wedding! Just remember that the Boynton Chapel and Bjorklunden are private property!!!
