Do not let them push you into buying GAP Insurance from Equipro/ Oak Group. When they handled my auto loan through my bank, they added “optional” GAP to my loan without asking me.($500) When I questioned this, Steve told me I had to have it because my regular insurance would not pay if the car was totaled. 3 weeks later the car was in a rollover. The opposite is true, regular auto insurance pays, Gap does not. The GAP Insurance by Equipro/Oak Group is a scam, a nightmare, and even though you will follow through with their requirements and have a perfectly legitimate claim, they will mess with you in ways you never imagined to avoid paying you. Forget these Finance specialist middlemen. Go directly to your bank. You will get a better rate and they won’t intimidate you into buying snake oil.

The guy I talked to there was very rude and short with me. Obviously they don't care to get business or for their potential customers. Would never try for a loan there again.

I am a sales manager at a local used car dealership in the area. We use to use them for 95% of all of our financed deals then we started getting less and less approvals with them, so we started looking for more banks and lenders to use. We send out all of our customers to all the lenders we use to help them get best deal possible on rates and terms. I get a email back stating why don't I sent it to our other lenders. Lately they don't even get back to us in regards to customers in either a denial or approval.
