They cheat you, be careful. Their scale is incorrect and they encourage you not to come in to see the reading. The guy that prices other metals isn't there form noon to one, big inconvenience. Be careful

Absolutely horrible experience. Mean, expensive. They charged $773 for a 24 mile trip. Adding multiple fees. They brought 2 guys out when they only needed 1. Charged us extra for that. Left our car unlocked in the parking lot. I would never reccomend these guys. Glad they were there to tow when we needed them, but they try & squeeze every penny they can from you

Great place to take your waste/material that your local trash service won't take. Highly recommended!

For the most part I think this salvage yard is ok. That's what my husband says anyway and he's had a lot more experience with this yard and staff than I have. Unfortunately they were closed on July 1st but hadn't updated their hours on Google to reflect that. So my husband wasn't too happy to pull up to the gate to find they were unexpectedly closed. And he wasn't the only one.... other customers were also at the gate expecting to get in. Just like with the hours on Google there was no signage at the gate to announce they'd be closed additional days for the July 4th holiday. I decided to look Gauger's up on Facebook and found they have a Facebook page and that's where they made the announcement about being closed for a long holiday weekend. I "reacted" to that post with the angry face and commented that they should update their hours on Google to reflect the the special holiday hours/ extra time off, pointed out there was no signage to clue people in to the special closure, and let them know multiple people showed up there expecting them to be open. Gauger's replied to my comment on their Facebook page today but I never got the chance to view their reply because they blocked me before I could read it! To me, in my opinion, that says this business has no interest in customer feedback and/or critique, or customer satisfaction. Frankly I find it very unprofessional and a little bit petty to block a customer because they gave a little 6criticism. Reading some of these other reviews it seems as though taking constructive criticism isn't their strong suit.

Selling parts that are no good, Drove there three times over an hour each drive said they'd give me a different part and left me high and dry and just gave me a refund

I drove 2 1/2 hours to get a transmission. While it was ordered properly, they loaded a manual transmission in my vehicle when I ordered an automatic!!! They stated they’d work on it but ultimately left me high and dry with a refund for my part but no compensation for fuel or 5+ hours wasted. I understand things happen, but they made no effort to compensate me for their mistake. Further, they failed to source a replacement. It cost me an extra $250 for the transmission I had to have shipped. They simply made no effort to make it right.

My husband and I drove over 2 hours for some Saturn Ion panels to replace on my daughters damaged car and it was well worth the drive! Excellent customer service! Staff were friendly, accommodating, and ready with our panels right when we arrived! Thank you for having the parts and making it a huge success!!! The best place!
