I was working in the shipping department for 3 years and well, things in life, my wife had a heart attack and I had to miss many times because she couldn't drive and she told me to quit and to apply again so they would hire me again. and I applied again and they told me that I couldn't be hired and the time I was there many stopped working and after a month or less they were back working oh... and in reality the superintendents didn't really do their job well

As an OTR truck driver from Michigan, Ashley furniture required me to unload their freight by hand at the customer. They ought to be sued for personal injury!

We do not recommend ordering anything from Ashley online! We ordered two items ahead of time to be there in our new home but then realized the color didn't look right in our house and ordered a full size bed instead of a queen size. When we realized, we quickly referenced our email to cancel the order and was told to call a number ending in 3393. We followed all the prompts and was told our cancellation request was initiated and would take 3-5 days to cancel the order! We ordered august 25 and it was sent august 28... we called august 29th toCancel. Then told when we called on august 30, that the cancellation request wasn't even initiated like we were told on the 29th. In order to attempt to alleviate the additional work and headache on both ends,(customer and business) we reached out to cancel BEFORE the item was shipped. Unfortunately Ashley's terrible process of submitting for a cancellation request of 3-5 days caused further headache. The charges were made the same day the items were sent out for delivery. We called and emailed numerous times this week with multiple representatives, who, unfortunately, are severely under trained, and do not understand what you are requesting initially. We were on 3 different phone calls today for a total of 2.5 hours. One of those calls, the rep for online customer service transferred us to the local Ashley store and because they are two different entities, the local store couldn't help us because the order was placed online! We could have easily dropped off the delivered items to the local Ashley store and they could have picked up from there, but not allowed per online Ashley store because their return policies are different?!!! What?!!! You are the same entity are you not? Why would you have different policies, shouldn't you want to streamline your business model and implement sound, proven policies for a business that runs like a well oiled machine?You should allow customers to return items at local Ashley locations, instead of having to have an item return initiated, pickup scheduled, further shipping delays, and receipt of the item to get a refund. 10 days to process a refund of any sort is absolutely ridiculous for any business.

Ashley Furniture is HORRIBLE... online customer service is pathetic. The merchandise was missing parts and the phone rep argued with me then finally agreed to sent parts. The next day i get an email that they were mistaken, that the parts are not included! So they want to offer me a 10% discount to make up for the misinformation, WTF! They want me to spend more money and shop some more. Nothing but insulting. The assembly instructions clearly show all parts needed. It has been a battle trying to get them to do the right thing which they refuse. I emailed the CEO and he will not respond. I told them to pick up their junk but now they want to send a technician to inspect... again WTF!e I am a month into dealing with this. Still no resolution. The CEO Todd Wanek has failed to respond to my requests to speak with him. I have been dealing with Chris Heintz | LCC Supervisor. He has promised to send the missing parts. He sent incorrect parts wrapped in foil in a used sandwich baggie. Literally GROSS!! He promised a full credit for the bed due to all the trouble. Has not happened. On the contrary there are now erroneous unauthorized charges showing up on my account. Also pillows were delivered in ripped up black garbage bags. Absolutely pathetic. I have had to cancel the card being charged as a result of Ashley placing unauthorized charges on the account. Then Renee Brown (supposedly superior to Chris Heintz) contacted me. She has assured she will send me the correct parts and will make sure all charges are removed. She promises to email me copies of credits that have been issued. Instead she emails me the parts list and incomplete credit info. The online team has emailed me info on supposed credits that have been issued but the credits have yet to be applied. They simply are blowing smoke up everybody's ass. Nobody at Ashley knows how to do their job. Starting to seem that i will need to involve my attorney. BUYER BEWARE!!

Hires horrible drivers. Just had one doing 65mph for the last 30 miles tailgating me then nearly take my front bumper off when he cut me off. Pulling a Wilson trailer. 4/29 I5 NB MM 592 1243PM. Check the eld GPS

I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. Dresser drawers don't close properly, some are entirely crooked! One drawer was busted on the inside. The night stand drawer came completely apart due to the inside rail not being put together properly. Our dining room table is gashed and messed up on one corner. The inside of our server is warped from screws not being put in correctly. Our ottoman was too large and they would not exchange it. No return policy. I have called them several times over the last month and a service tech has still not been assigned to my issues. They are so busy fixing their junky furniture. This company does not stand behind their products and they're getting away from it! Buyer beware!!!!!!

Ashley furniture quality is terrible, screws don't match up, furniture's not level on the floor and wobbles. Customer service is straight from the ghetto with zero help or concern. Their delivery service ruined my home, leaving deep gouge scratches on the floors and walls trying to get furniture up the steps. Do yourself a favor and read all the previous reviews. Then shop somewhere else to save yourself of unnecessary headaches that will not ever get resolved.

Can't give a review as I ordered in November and it is now Christmas Eve.....still no package. They refuse to post this so look them up on Yelp and all the other places. This review will be cross posted on multiple sites that they can not stop or control. They obviously are not handling this very well. Not good on the company. This will be posted and this will get out.....just at the very minimum at least attempt to address this. Not asking them to rebuild the wheel or make a huge ordeal over sheets. But, your actions have spoken..

Bed sat was delivered on the receipt it stated thAt it would be delivered and set up ..They dropped the boxes and left . If we would have know we would have saved the delivery fee and brought it home ourselves. Poor trading .

Wasted an entire afternoon waiting on a delivery that was supposed to happen today between 12-3. When I finally got to speak to someone around 4:30, after lots of time on hold & numerous attempts-I was told that the driver had cancelled all of his routes today & I would have to reschedule. After calling a second number & finally getting someone different on the phone, I was told that there had been a glitch in their system & that my items wouldn't even be in the Ashley warehouse until Sept 6th. Seriously Ashley Homestore???? I am confident that no one cares-but I will never shop here again.
