Worst place to go if you have kids or young kids. They won’t let anyone use the bathroom and they should. People need basic human needs especially when they have to wait for a prescription. I’ll never go here again.

Joe, the head pharmacist, denied my federal native American identification card. I will be pursuing a lawsuit against Joe and walgreens for demoralizing me. Making me feel as though my native status card does not matter. Meaning my native American status doesn't matter either. Then good old Joe kicked me out of the store. I am no longer welcome in HIS establishment. I called the REAL corporate Joe and they will be calling me back. I GOT TO TALK TO SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOU ABOUT YOUR UNETICAL BEHAVIOR! #IAMNATIVE #HEARMEROAR

Worst pharmacy experience of my life. My wife went to pick up a prescription and was given the wrong one. We went back to find out what went wrong, why was she given the wrong pills, can we return, get a refund? We were met at first with apathy and dismissiveness. It’s not their problem. After asking more questions of how can she be given the wrong meds and how can we make sure this won’t happen again, the pharmacist became hostile and insisted that she had asked specifically for old prescriptions from a year ago. No way did she go in and specifically ask for a year old prescription when expecting something totally different from doctor three days prior. I just wanted to figure out how to avoid this in the future and it ended up in a semi-argument due to their hostility and lack of concern for what went wrong. If you can use a different pharmacy I would suggest it.

I asked my prescription, telling my hospital name and doctor's name, but they gave me the wrong prescription. I tried to return it, but they didn't take it. They all were super rude and threw back the prescription to me.

Terrible experience with the pharmacy. My regular migraine prescription was saying "in progress" on the app for days then I went to check again today and it said to call the pharmacy. I called and the pharmacist had no idea why the prescription had not been filled, why I wasn't contacted, or why it switched from "in progress" to "call pharmacy" after a few days (without notifying me, I just happened to check the app). I regularly receive both calls and texts for prescriptions, so I know they have my correct contact info. I have never had to wait so long for my medication and had 2 migraines as a result and almost ended up in the hospital. The pharmacist was very kind and apologetic and said he would rush order it for me and it will hopefully be in tomorrow. I asked him what I could do to prevent this in the future, as this was my first time using a pharmacy since moving to Appleton a few weeks ago, and if this happened often. He acknowledged that it does happen quite often because their app is not good, and suggested I call before picking up prescriptions to make sure they are on top of it. I very much appreciate his honesty. I never had this problem with my former Walgreens though and I have 8 medication prescriptions all filled in different time intervals, so I will not be calling every time. I will be switching to CVS. It is awful to have to rely on medication to keep me out of the hospital from a pharmacy that is not on top of it. It makes me worry about people who have actual LIFE SAVING medication.

Commonly we might say, "I'm going to run to Walgreen's". For this location I implore you to run in another direction. They have been unbelievably rude to both me and my 81 year old mother. I attempted to resolve one issue with the store manager and she was equally unprofessional as the pharmacist. Can't imagine Walgreen's corporate keeping this location open in the future.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I called to check on a prescription and the person I spoke with was extremely rude. Said “what do you want me to do about it” when he informed me my insurance didn’t cover the medication and he couldn’t sell it to me for cash price. He hung up on me! I have never been treated so rudely by pharmacy staff before. “I’m sure they told you when you signed up” was his remark to me when I said now I can’t get my medication. Evidently this person is very unhappy. I will never use a Walgreens again after this.

I have been using this pharmacy for over 20 years. Since 2020, the pharmacy is closed on weekends, closed in the middle of the day (when many people have lunch breaks from work), and it’s regularly closed at random without notice for entire weekdays such as today 12/20/2023.I would not recommend this pharmacy for regular medication refills especially not time-sensitive medication needs or to fill prescriptions for children who may not be able to wait for the pharmacist to fit having the pharmacy open into his schedule.Over 20 years, I have been spoken to in accusatory tones by the pharmacy staff.I haven’t made a big deal out of it, assuming it’s a health care system issue and not a me problem. But now that it’s also closed more often than it is open, I don’t appreciate being spoken to as if I am trying to “pull one over” on a regular basis.Save yourself time, energy, and hassle:use Hometown Pharmacy or CVS. I am switching today.

Trust the other reviews; pharmacy is awful. I called in the morning with a question about a prescription, got one answer and a three-hour timeframe. Called again after work, was on hold 40 minutes before the call dropped. Went into the store and they gave a different answer than they did in the morning. Wasted 3 hours of my life.
