Pretty neat store. Located in a tight area for traffic, but it's not too bad getting in and out.Owner is chilled and has regulars whom come in and chats with mostly about fishing (obviously). He has knowledge on the topic that's for sure.Store wise it's crowded with product, but organized neatly and precise which helps a lot. The selection and variety for material is off the charts from panfish to musky, walleye to trout- everything you need for Wisconsin fishing. Of all the product there I saw only one 'out-of-stock' sign.Pricing is decent. Similar to big-box retail, but pricing on hooks you get great deals. Clearance area is good on pricing and variety too.Definitely will be back.

Secret spot! Don't know why this place isn't packed all the time. I enjoy making my own lures and The Sportsman has all the stuff I need. I can walk right in and there it is..hooks, wires, spinner blades, bead, thread, epoxy, feathers, paint, I may have seen lead molds, etc, etc. and it's just down the road. I don't have to wait for a mail order that could take a week or more to arrive. There's been a couple times where I've needed to fix a rod eye and needed thread epoxy...Sportsman had it on hand. I would've never known had I not asked. I'm for sure Fleet Farm, Scheels, and Reel Shot don't have a size 10 double foot eye or thread epoxy. The Sportsman does! It's not only lure making or rod building supplies here. Sportsman has a huge...HUGE musky tackle selection, an abundant selection of flies, crank baits, rods, reels, clothing. Sometimes you find a great score on a discounted lure!

Huge selection. I honestly had no idea where to look because there was so many options. The guy working was helpful to my boyfriend in finding the right lure we needed.

You feel pretty uncomfortable walking into this place has been my experience with this place. It's got a great selection of lures and rods and accessories don't get me wrong. It's the service that you get (or don't get) that really lends itself to the uncomfortable feeling. I've seen the owner interact with his friends in the store and with strangers. The strangers are an afterthought. The layout of the store is cumbersome, so that doesn't help. If you have to go in this place just keep your chin up and stay cool.....they can sense your fear. ?

Very bad place to go if you want to keep your money!! ...This place is the best Ive been to so far..Extensive selection of everything!!.Most desired common reels...Pretty much a fishermans dream...Definitly visit n set up a fund your wife will not know about ..lol..
