We drove over an hour and half to get a gun that said online was in stock. When we tried to buy it, they said it was reserved for a banquet. We wasted over 3 hours of our time driving, gas money, and half our day. We were so upset we we put all our merchandise back and left. They would have had a $1600+ sale. Reserving merchandise while paying customers travel a long distance to buy something is a poor policy. The website should note that the item is on hold or unavailable.

Went to Scheels in Appleton today to look at some bikes. We had help from Stephanie B, and the men in the bike shop. They were all phenomenal and very knowledgeable about their products. Stephanie was especially helpful with picking out the right bikes for us. Highly recommend Scheels and the bike shop in there when looking to buy or repair your bikes.

This was my very first Scheels, I try to visit every time I am in the area. Got some real nice items here. Reasonable prices for good equipment.

Very nice store . Great selection . They carry the best brands. But be prepared to pay for them . Very clean . Very friendly staff .

GREAT customer service. We bought a smith machine weight cage. The pulleys kept twisting and the installers were right out and adjusted cables. 3 months in. A pully was stripping the coating off the cable and once again they came out and replaced ALL cables. Under warranty. Excellent response and fix. Thanks.

Bought two garmin watches from themonline and was a complete nightmare to deal with. I don’t think they are equipped to handle larger purchases amount.
They cancelled my order several times and gave me misinformation. I would not recommend shopping for online orders.
The one positive is short wait times with their customer service department. But after 10 calls it just gets old.
The ultimate outcome was I received one watch and the other watch was cancelled. Terrible inventory management.
