I worked there for over 2 years. Management is an unorganized nightmare, customer service is as bad as Walmart & the cashier's are slow and overall beyond unfriendly and rude. I've witnessed "Director's" which are managers and some staff, bully a few women so badly they had to quit. They (managers) allowed the harassment to continue and actually laughed behind these employees backs. Not a healthy or mentally safe environment. Honestly, it's fair pay & average benefits, but not a place where you'll have any peace or appreciation. Festival Foods , others say, are much more respectful towards employees. The produce does rot at Meijer's more quickly than most & there is no security on duty if harassed by staff, or customers! Yes, I've seen a few mgr/cashier staff royally verbally attack customers that don't deserve it and laugh on break afterwards. It's too bad such a large & spacious store has so many internal & supply & demand issues too. Limited selections & again, rude & disrespectful treatment towards customers and staff. All levels of management are useless, uneducated, and severely void of the skill sets to keep everything flowing evenly!!!

Read all reviews my comments:"Prices are high" don't blame the stores. Due to Biden real inflation (which includes food) is up 25%. Remember when you vote what you got last time."Empty shelves". Walmart & Kroger are facing the same problem. When the price of diesel fuel gets so high the trucker can't make money, hauling stops. Remember that other president when we were energy independent. We even produced more fuel than we could use. Don't worry when we all go electric, the price of that will quadruple."Checkout Staff slow" If you think slow go to Woodmans. Also have you hired anyone lately. Well due to our economy (and I don't mean good), of you can find someone, and they consistently come to work your doing good. Then there is the issue, do you raise prices or pay the new hire.Overall I have found the store clean, staff responsive, and good quality products. The present US administration has changed many things Americans have grown accustomed too, & not for the better! Hey we have one senator with only one eye, a wheelchair and does not know where she is. Another who after elected did not show up for work for 3 months due to depression (so why take the job). Well shop at Meijer & leave the political comments at home.

The employees that I encountered tonight were of phenomenal service. I lost one of my possessions there and the workers were immediately at my service to help me in any way they could. Stacy W. was the lady that stood out to me the most. She, along with two others ladies whose names I don't know, was extremely kind, understanding, and helpful right from when I checked out with Stacy until I left the building. We need more people like Stacy W.!!

I have never seen a store with as many troubles keeping their shelves stocked as this one! If you need 10 items, they will only have 7 in stock! I have given feedback to the store and Meijers corporate numerous times, but nothing seems to change. Why do they have so many stock outs when Woodmans and Festival are always well stocked????

So clean compared to Walmart, with great discounts. It was rare to find a piece of clothing that wasn't on sale, and there is BOGO everywhere.

I have worked at Meijer store for a year and a half. People that work at the store are very cordial and friendly. However the Meijer Corporation is very disorganized. The right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. They are changing your work schedule on a daily basis. So you do need to log in and check your schedule. I've been there a year and a half and they have changed my schedule about five different times. When I came to putting my two week notice in. As soon as I put my two week notice in and recommended a few people to take my position. Myers Corporation near me on the schedule for those two weeks. Abruptly they canceled them weeks and completely took me off of their schedule. Bottom line Meyer is a good place to work as far as the people go. However the corporation will screw you over as soon as they can. I do not recommend anybody getting involved with this Corporation

Inadequate number of check-out clerks, always. Meager variety. Gas station uses XactAir: You pay $1.50 to SLOWLY fill one tire up - a complete rip-off!!!
