We had an engine light come on our F-250 diesel truck. The truck started clattering and we lost turbo boost power. We were camping in Hilbert and needed to get the truck repaired within 2 days. We drove to Les Stumpf Ford in Appleton and spoke to Matt. He informed us the couldn't get to it and suggested we try L&S Truck Center. He not only recommended an excellent company but the dealership also gave us a discount on a rental car we needed to get from them. Thanks Matt for the great recommendation and your helpful service.

Let me preface by saying, I was at my third visit at the pre-owned Les Stumpf vehicle Lot to further discuss a car that I was seriously considering to purchase.I noted during my test drive, a noise emanating from the vehicle, which I asked if that could be addressed prior to purchase. My request was given to ‘Paul Cotter’, (Sales manager at the pre-owned car lot.) When I addressed my concern with the vehicle, he immediately discredited me by telling me that he wasn’t investing any money in the car, and that he didn’t care if I bought it or not, but he would ‘sell it to someone else or send it to ‘Manheim auction’, and that my business wasn’t valued over a noise I heard. Let alone, not also did he dismiss my observation of a possible defect with the vehicle, he was extremely abrasive with his responses, made no eye Contact while staring at his computer, used hand gestures to wave me off, like I was bothering him. FYI, this was the first time I’ve even met Paul, and this is how I was treated when I had money to hold the vehicle, in which I wanted to close out by Friday. So not also did he destroy the credibility of Les Stumpf within less than five minutes of this interaction, he’s also a reason why people don’t want to frequent dealerships any more with these type of negative-passive-aggressive interactions. [On a side-note, there is a _second_ negative review that specifically mentions Paul’s rudeness that happened to another customer as well.]Paul needs remedial retraining on how to handle customer interactions, and this whole ordeal could have been avoided, if Paul Cotter had just expressed a more positive and willing attitude to execute a car sale, which he failed miserably. And because of this interaction, I will exert as much effort as possible to destroy any future recommendations to that dealership, all because of one hateful, bitter sales manager, with Paul Cotter. On a semi positive note, I had a great experience meeting the sales representative at the used car lot with ‘Dan’ and I expressed my complaint to Eric Gafner, who was very receptive to what I had to say, and was far more respectful. Hopefully, that type of interaction I had with Paul Cotter, will be the last for any customer have to deal with someone as hateful as he was. In my honest opinion, Paul needs to retire and/or be terminated like ASAP and be replaced with someone that is not as jaded as he is.

Brought my Ford to this Ford dealer for a diagnosis. Three days later they tell me they can't figure out what's wrong with it. The breaks go out unexpectedly and they think it's ok to say sorry, not sure why that's happening, good luck with that. And oh by the way, $110 for our failed diagnosis. Avoid this place like the plague. They could care less. So bad.

So I bought a 2018 dodge Durango gt fromThem on sept 09 and and when I got home I noticed that a part of the race track light was out. I immediately contacted the dealership to address this issue. They ultimately deny any responsibility of fixing an issue that was present before I bought it. I have pictures to prove that it was an issue prior to driving off the lot! I've already filed a dealership complaint. Do not trust these guys!! Their business dealings are Shady. They are in direct violation of the law. They did not disclose the issue prior to buying. THEY SOLD ME A CAR WITH A KNOWN ISSUE WITHOUT ADDRESSING ME TO THE ISSUE BEFORE I SIGNED!!!! RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!UPDATE! So after fighting for months regarding my race track light they were forced to replace it because it was a known issue when they purchased it from the previous owner And now, my check engine light is on and sitting in a shop looking at changing camshaft. Plugs. Coils etc because their work! The spark plugs have never been changed!! Tune up is standard around 60,000 miles! I bought car with 80,000 plus miles! Their so called 100 point inspection is bs!!! I will never recommend this place to anyone!!! Their extremely shady!!!! I shouldn't have to drop $5,000 like this for only owning it for 4 months!!!! Paid too much for all this kinda trouble!!!!!

T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E place!!! DO NOT rent or buy from this place! I rented a 12 passenger van for 2 weeks. They are very unprofessional! Rude and DESPERATE for money. 1.) First thing....My father has pancreatic cancer stage 4....we rented this van for our whole family to go places to lift my father's spirits up.....Due to him being weak he wasn't up for going anywhere. We kindly asked if we could bring the van back early. They REFUSED and wanted to charge us for the WHOLE 2 weeks. 2.) They are charging me a cleaning fee because there was so called dog hair in the van! I own a Husky and a German Shepherd. My dogs have NEVER been in the vehicle. As any dog owner would agree with me. Dog hair is on my clothes. I CANNOT control that!! (The van was a disaster BEFORE I even picked it up) 3.) My husband and I we were driving down interstate 41 in down pouring weather! The windshield wiper flew off. Putting our safety at RISK. (I did replace the windshield wiper) MARK at the dealership pretty much said oh well I do not care at all! Not my problem. You are a Ford DEALERSHIP that does not back their products. That is just completely PATHETIC! If you do not know what you are doing or can take responsibility for your faulty equipment ....GET OUT of the business! I asked him numerous times to drop the cleaning charge due to putting our safety as risk or I will put my terrible experience I had online. MARK said "You cannot threaten me...That's not how this work" What am I threatening Mark?

The Body Shop here is awesome! The guys working were helpful, friendly and fantastic. We couldn't have been happier! Without an appointment, we came in for some minor body repair that was impertinent to get done immediately as we were leaving on a long trip. We called at 10am, had the car in by 11am and we're out of there by 11:20! I wish I remembered the two guys names. I believe one was the manager and his name was TG. Anyway, awesome service, like We have never really seen before.

I am so happy I chose Les Stumpf to purchase my very first car! Reggie was extremely helpful and gave honest opinions and advice. As a new adult that had no idea what I was really looking for or what to look for, I am so thankful to have had Reggie’s help. 10/10, would recommend.

Unfortunately, my car buying experience with Les Stumpf Ford was not a positive one. It took Les Stumpf 3 different times to have the paperwork signed correctly and 2 different times to eventually pay off my previous loan correctly. During one of those times that we came back to sign the paperwork, the business manager we were working with failed to set our expectations by not informing us that he was out of the office on vacation after confirming in an email he would see us that day. He also didn't give us instructions what paperwork was needed to be signed and who to talk with. Our sale representative was decent to start but when asked to look into what they could do to help fix my steering wheel, he failed to get back to me in an appropriate amount of time and didn't do so until I emailed him. I purchased a 2018 F150 and after having it a week the steering wheel developed a wear spot and didn't feel the same as when we had test drove it. When speaking with the Used Car Sales Manager about replacing my steering wheel and to try to salvage a positive client experience even after everything that happened, I was told he shouldn't have to buy my satisfaction and offered me nothing in return. It ended up being one of the worst purchasing experience I've ever gone through. I will never recommend Les Stumpf Ford to anyone in the future.

I purchased my first nice car from Les Stumpf Ford the other day. Up until now I have always driven some kind of older vehicle. Well, I finally decided to take the leap and buy something nice, but I have to say that I am disappointed. The customer service was ok (although the transaction took from 3:30 til about 7:45, which was a bit crazy) but overall the employees were nice. However, it's not like they had to do much for the sale. I came in knowing exactly what I was there to do. Took the car for a ride and decided that I wanted it. However, the car was quite dirty when I drove it and looked it over. (Now I know why they kept it dirty) They didn't wash it til hours later right before I took it home and it was dark out. Therefore, I didn't notice until the next day in the sunlight that there were small scratches and chips in the paint all over the car (tons of them!) that someone touched up with paint that is close in color but not great. I am now furious that this wasn't disclosed to me at the time of sale so that I could make the decision as to whether or not I still wanted it. Obviously this does not effect the drive ability of the car and is only cosmetic, but it definitely would have been nice to know!! I am soooo disappointed. what a crappy way to do business Les Stumpf Ford!!

I stopped in today to test drive a Ford escape, which I enjoyed. Although I didn't make a purchase, the staff was very kind.

Me and my Husband went to this dealer looking for a car to purchase. Its been a long time since we had purchased a car and didn't have any idea how to start. Thanks to Kevin Locke the sales person that helped us, it was not as hard as we thought. Kevin went out of his way for us. He gave us all the details of the car the were interested in and he also made sure that we were well taken care of . Brent at the finance department made it so easy for us to get the loan that we needed to purchase the car. I would say this has been a great experience and I would recommend Stumpf Auto dealer to everyone.

They sell junk that they don't stand behind. I bought the absolute worst car I've ever owned from them. I would not recommend picking anything from their inventory.
