I brought my Ford Edge in for a recall as well as a check engine light and bald front tire hoping for some answers about what might be causing these issues. I was asked to drop my car off at 9am on 09/03/24, which I did. They contacted me by 10:30 to tell me they would be charging me three diagnostic fees (one for the check engine light, one for the tire and one because they couldn't get my hood popped) each of these fees is $125, and would total $375 just for diagnosis. After some discussion they agreed to charge only $250 total for diagnostics and then asked how much money I'd be willing to spend before they should contact me again. I asked them to please diagnose everything and call me with estimates before working further. They agreed. By 3pm I had not heard back and had to contact them at which time they asked me some history on the car but had no diagnostics done. By the time my husband got home at 4:30 he contacted them and the only actual diagnostic they had figured out was the hood latch and an air intake pipe which likely is not the cause of the check engine light. They said they would order the parts needed and work on it first thing in the morning. I heard nothing back again and just called at 12pm on 09/04 at which time they said the parts won't be in until tomorrow but had no time estimate for when my vehicle would be finished. They have only contacted me one time and appear to not make progress until I contact them each time. I will not be bringing my vehicle back to this facility in the future.

Needed to rent a van recently and experiance at Les Stumpf was exceptional - from response time from my inquiry ( within 8 hours) to the actual rental and quality of service through whole process. Great job team Les Stumpf.

Had the oil changed and the brakes checked. Oil change went ok but i was told all the roters need changed, pads were ok but bad brake rotors. Odd since pads usually go before rotors. Anyway i called for a estimate for tires and brakes. Les stumph never got back to me with the estimate. After teo days i still have not heard a word from them. They said “i will get nack to you today” when i called. So i went somewhere else for the tires and brakes. The service people assured me and showed me the rotors were in good shape and did not need changed. This is a lot of money that someone was going to have me spend for no reason. Thats a crap kinda way to treat your customers. At least this garage was straight with me and saved me a lot of money. So all in all THANKS les stumph ford at least i know where not to go.
