We brought my wedding ring in to be cleaned and to see if anything needed to be fixed on it - I have had it for over 30 years and my husband bought from Krieger. They were all friendly when we dropped it off and said they would look everything over and give us an updated appraisal and would call us if anything needed to be done with it. I got a call a couple of days later and was told that repairs would cost over $1300. I told them not to repair it and asked if sterling silver would be less expensive. I was told that sterling silver is not a good option as it's not as strong or durable as gold. Hmmm...I have another ring that is sterling silver and have worn it daily for almost 20 years and have had zero issues with it. Person I spoke to said she would ask if white gold would be less expensive and I would get a call back in 2 days. I never got a call. I called them and said I would pick it up that day. I picked it up. It was cleaned (though I have had it cleaned other places and it looked much better) but never got the updated appraisal and the lady couldn't get me out of the store fast enough. Never again will we go there.

They helped fix my grandmas ring. Everyone was nice and easy to work with. They were quick and it looks beautiful.

Wanted $1000 dollars to repair a band that was made there for just over $1000. "Mr. Kreiger stands by his work" is a thing of the past.

I have brought several rings in and I get the same story, that the prongs need to be replaced! This is obviously a game they play to get more money out of you. They also pay you crap for gold. I also had a $600 rope chain repaired more than and 6-8 months later it breaks again. It broke again this weekend, I am not bringing it back. I'll find someone else.

They don't even let you walk in. There is a doorbell no one ever bothered to open the door after standing there for 10 minutes ringing the doorbell. Nice being agonred.

Awful service...awful store...no one should be eating while working and open mouthed chewing...gross...I was blamed for broken $1,000 earrings...I must have had an accident opening them...this place is just horrible!!!

If I could give this jeweler zero stars I would. I stopped in to get a quote for getting my ring resized smaller. Ended up being told my ring needed $1,000 worth of repairs after the guy in the back looked at it for maybe 10 seconds. Seemed very fishy so I left. Went to Jared for a second opinion and they confirmed NOTHING was wrong with my ring and it looked perfect. Please don’t even bother making an appointment with Krieger unless you want them to prey on you, taking advantage of the emotional/sentimental attachment you have to your ring. They tried scaring me saying I was going to lose my diamonds. I’m sure a lot of people believe them unfortunately. Please don’t support these scammers!

Just Bad. Very judgmental and very pushy. I wouldn't recommend it. There are other jewlers with competitive pricing that have better work.
