On April 16 2024 I discovered my 11 year old refrigerator freezer was 'dead'. On April 17th I asked a neighbor where she got her appliances as she mentioned over the years how happy she was with a local dealer. On that day, April 17th I called and spoke with the owner and gave him the information of the size etc of my present 'dead' refrig. I told him to select one he thought was appropriate. AND THE BEST of this WAS HIS DELIVERY MEN could DELIVER it by 3 pm on April 17th. NOW that is SERVICE!!!! He saved me from having a house full of people on April 20th with NO REFRIG/FREEZER!!! The refrigerator the owner picked out for me has me enjoying the shelf set up and especially the freezer set up of this GE refrigerator over my last LG. I can not say enough to recommend a LOCAL Business over the big box stores!!!!!

Google showed they’re open on Saturdays from 9-12 so I drove over a half hour only to find out they’re no longer open on weekends. Update your hours online. You just lost business.

They ONLY repair what they sell. Please be aware when buying. I personally have has the issue where the business I purchased from "guaranteed" they would service the appliance we purchased but 2 years later they discontinued that service and then I am left with the appliance I really didn't refer and now to try to find someone to fix it.

This review is hard to write because I loved this place and recommended it whenever I could. This place went from first to worst. Since I discovered this place because of a warranty claim when the manufacturer referred me to them several years ago. After having a great experience, I never bought an appliance anywhere else and never even considered calling anyone else for service. All that changed when Bill retired. Evidently the new owners put an end to that fast friendly personal service that made this place a legend. When I called to have my washer serviced, I was told, sorry, if you didn't buy it here, call someone else. Instead of explaining that they were busy, or short on help and I may have to wait a bit it was just flat-out NO. Excuse after excuse, This guy left, another one retired than a delivery driver quit.... I guess it isn't a good place to work either.

Had a problem with my dryer. Not heating but running. Talked to the gentleman at Good Housekeeping & advised to bring in heating fuses. Told where they were. Brought them in & he tested them. One not working. Got a replacement & now works great Wonderful service

I was recommended to go here by a co-worker. So happy I did! Refrigerator went out yesterday and they will be sending one TODAY! Everything was over the phone and they bent over backwards to help me!! They are very knowledgable and very professional with answers to any questions on there line of products. Unlike the big box stores who hire the kids who only know the product by what ever it says on the SCREEN!

Glass top cracked on our stove, I called four different places for help. One said they didn’t service our area, another said they didn’t service anything they didn’t sell to us, another didn’t answer the phone, then there is Good Housekeeping, when I called they were very helpful. They said they would order the part and it would be here in a few weeks. As it was and then they could get someone out within five days. So Jeremy came today, he called before to make sure it was still a good time, then came and replaced the glass top within an hour. We are so pleased with the whole company, always very polite and helpful. Our microwave just stopped working so we will definitely be going to Good Housekeeping for a new one. If you are in need of a repair or a new appliances we highly recommend Good Housekeeping.

Prices competitive with big box stores but a local family owned business. Service was great, my old washing machine is running like new! Will always take my business to them.
