When we first moved to the area this place was a hit; I had found name brand shoes for $2! Even a target brand dress for $6.
I come mostly for clothing items. Although lately I haven’t seen the same great deals. Yes they staple their prices on the clothes which is a pain. The only other benefit is they do carry some Big & Tall for Men. Otherwise unfortunately it feels sometimes like the store is going downhill.
As the other reviews mentioned yes the African American lady who works here is one of the rudest employees. My grandma who was visiting from NY came with me here & she got upset with us. A older gentleman was exiting as we approached the entrance & held the door for us so we didn’t want to be rude & came in technically through the “exit” & she immediately yelled at us to leave; go back out & use the main door. ?

The most outrageously priced thrift store i’ve ever been to in my life. 99% of the stuff they have there is junk to begin with but there was a set of bongo drums that look like they were pooped on and had blood dripped on them for $80 a piece! Not to mention a polo windbreaker with red stains splattered on the front for $29.99. They’re better off trying to sell stuff online because i have no idea how they expect to make money here.

Years ago this was one of my favorite thrift stops. Now you are treated so poorly by the staff, and the prices are so high it’s not worth shopping there anymore. Last time I was there I left without buying anything because of how rude the cashier is.

I don’t know what the darker toned lady’s problem was but we have never had this problem before coming here everytime we grabbed something or tryed to look at something here she comes pushing past us to move the stuff we are looking at out of our way she legit snatched a cart out of my hands while I was holding my child because she didn’t want me to put it back in the cart slot the entire time we were their she harassed and followed and stared at us we will not be returning I would like to shop in peace instead of being harassed by worker

I haven't been to a Fox valley thrift store since they closed the Oshkosh location. I went to the Appleton location today and remembered why I don't like this thrift store. They use little Staples to staple the price tag on the item....not on the clothing tag.... they go right through the clothes, and sometimes you can't get the little staple out without putting a hole in the clothes ....aargh....Need to come up with a better way of attaching a price to an item!!

In spite of all the bad reviews, I shouldn't have been so surprised that when I got there at 4:30, they were closed. Even though their posted hours show they're open until 6:00 on Fridays. Based on their hours in general, they clearly don't care about people who work for a living.

As mentioned in previous reviews (which I didn't read until after I left the store) the manager, who is roaming the store in a mask, is extremely rude. From the second I entered the store she was putting clothes away and rather than say excuse me, she just invades your personal space and shoves clothes on the racks. The check out experience was even worse. It's a shame because they have great deals but they're losing customers from poor management. If I didn't actually find things I would give 1 star. Do better.
