We are new to the area and this bank is close to our place. I called ahead to make appointment to open an account with them. Gerald C. was professional and also very helpful. They even called us to confirm/remind my upcoming appointment. Great experience overall comparing to other banks that I used to bank with.

I've been with BMO a long time and service was always OK. I don't have many needs to go in to the branches and solely use the app (which is great). I had some issues with an account and I needed to freeze it and eventually close it after a few checks cleared. I could not do this over the phone, had to go to a local branch. The woman I spoke to at the branch assured me she had it taken care of, she wouldn't allow any pre-agreed on transactions to go through on the old account and would close it for me the following week. I even asked her if there was any follow up that needed to happen on my end, she said no. Not only did transactions come through that I hadn't approved but the compromised account was left open for 3 weeks. I had called, left a message with her, no response. Had to call again and talk to someone else. I'm only giving a second star for the woman who helped me officially close it. This feels incredibly irresponsible. Customer service and empathy for a compromised bank account should be better than this.

I went to the bank to pay my bills right at 8:30am and they were not opened. I waited to 8:40 and still nothing. There were workers in the bank and no one acknowledged me. Will be switching banks and not coming back.

Customer service isn’t very good now. It used to be good untill BMO subcontracted everything out. Now all you get is empty promises. They have owed me a refund for a month. Take your business elsewhere.

Incredibly friendly and helpful! This is my go-to branch for any of my banking needs.
