Without the help of the owner, I would be lost, when I was a newbie, day one, he kindly educated me about saltwater care and the proper nitrogen cycle, and gave me the foundation I needed to start my tank. It’s now fully cycled, and sustaining life well, the owner left a lasting impression on me that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I feel supported knowing that I can call the store if I have something major go wrong in the future. I will definitely be back, to purchase fish and inverts in the future. If it wasn’t for his help, and guidance on exactly what to do, I wouldn’t have been successful.So to whomever is reading this, and is a newbie like I was, this man will help you. Just take his advice clearly, and FOLLOW IT. He’s a marine biologist, he knows what he’s doing, and I couldn’t be happier with the things I purchased from him, my dried rock now had diatoms growing, everything he sells is top tier. If he doesn’t sell it, don’t use it… I learned my lesson with the Fluval sea hydrometer, and should have gotten the instant ocean one he sold instead. Mine doesn’t work now, but I have a proper refractometer, so it’s okay. He taught me to research EVERYTHING throughly and find out WHY things are the way they are before doing ANYTHING. Super grateful.

Bought corals here 15 years ago and had great success. Unfortunately had to shutdown that system because of life. Starting up a new system and will buy all my corals here again. Ppl have to understand that all these corals are aquacultured there, not shipped in. This takes a lot of time and money. So when you are buying corals here you can rest assured you are not supporting illegal trade, which is destroying the natural reefs. There for I will send the couple extra $ for premium corals. Plus unlike some of the reviews here, I did my research and the prices are not that bad.

BORDERLINE FISH ABUSE I went over there yesterday and omg that place was a nightmare. tanks looked decrepit and some where full of algae (Bryopsis) and some fish had some serious fin and under/overbite issues. not to mention the coral tanks they had fish that should be in a 75 gallon atleast in crowded shallow coral tanks. as a hobbyist fish owner these fish are seriously neglected in care. random areas around the tank had large salt build up and the air was just fuming with excess nitrates and ammonia. any fish owner can immediately tell you the smell of a normal healthy tank and a bad one. not to mention no prices listed at all. I simply came in to look around and came out mortified

Wait, a top notch coral store in the middle of Wisconsin? YUP! You can't find a better coral shop within 500 miles, truly a gem. The owners passion and knowledge is flowing out of every corner.

Very kind and helpful and great selection of stuff for the hobby I'll definitely be back! Only improvement would be to have prices on things just cuz I get anxiety about asking for prices.
