On 1/4/2024 owner was selling for 2.71 just 25 miles south in Wittenberg, WI and 2.81 45 miles north in Rhinelander, WI while selling for 2.86 in their own backyard following Kwik Trip pricing as usual...a follower in pricing not a leader! Gives breaks in other areas but price fixes in their own backyard.

The lighted sign outside of Wagner’s Shell station on Velp Avenue in Howard says “Wacky Wednesday Half Price Car Washes”. So, I hit “yes” I want a carwash and made my selection. When my receipt printed, I was charged full price. I walked into the store and asked the clerk, “I thought that car washes were half price on Wednesday?” The clerk says, “They are.” I replied, “I was charged full price, so I need a refund.” Clerk says, “We don’t give refunds. You have to pay inside. It says it on the sign outside the door.” I pointed out that the big lighted sign says half price car washes on Wednesday, and asked how to rectify the situation. Clerk says, “We don’t. That’s the car wash you get.” I will be calling the corporate office. Please note the sign by the door. When you walk right up to the building, and then look up and over the garbage and recycling bins, behind the bins, in one inch tall letters, you see this policy. The “disclaimer” is not visible from your vehicle or when you are paying at the pump. Perhaps a small sign at the pump would be helpful?!? Sounds like deceptive advertising to me!

The staff in this gas station is not very friendly and I bought a hot ready to eat pizza and it was as hard as a rock it looked like it had a couple days just sitting there it had no expiration date or the date it was made so I really wouldnt know
