I worked in the kitchen and I was a distant aid and whenever something was not done in the morning and we told our manager he basically ignored it and tried saying we did it. Unbelievable me and my girlfriend were the only people who completely did there job and stayed there while shift literally everyone even the manager leaves an hour or 2 early the kitchen is absolutely disgusting because of it the dining rooms and never swept in the morning and that lead to hundreds of ants in each quad it is gross so I have found multiple hairs in the residents food and I told the genaral manager about this and they said it was my hair it was always blond straight hair… I have brown curly hair unbelievable and they even fired me for it. I AM NOT A COOK the cook has blonde straight hair and the only one who dose. This place is not a place you want food or your elderly family eating but yet the manger and the head kitchen is allowing it. GROSS. The picture is from when I had a weekend off and came in on a Monday and this is from one corner of the kitchen….

Odd to see the administration accusing those who leave honest, negative reviews of solicitation, not a good look on the company’s behalf. Current management is absolutely the issue here. Most of the staff working on the floor are very hard-working but very much overworked. That’s my honest, non-solicited opinion. ;)

This facility was an answer to prayer for my mom who has dementia but remains quite physically active. Lovely place with walking options inside as well as outdoor enclosed courtyards. The staff is upbeat and solution focused, the activity department is phenomenal! Truly a family atmosphere for residents and for me a feeling that "we're all in this together".

I cannot express enough how much I like this place. My sister resides here and has done has done better than expected. It is a clean facility. The staff here is awesome. Always pleasant and helpful. They treat our sister very well. It's a hard job they have but seem to handle it quite well. Thanks to the Staff at Amery Memory Care. Bless you
