SUPERB, EXCELLENT SERVICE! I am so grateful to have found these great mechanics, and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I had my truck at numerous places, including the dealership, without any help before Steve's Hillcrest Truck and Auto repair. They actually listened to me and solved the problem!!! What a relief! Steve's Hillcrest Truck and Auto repair is fair, honest, friendly, caring, reasonably price (he looked around to find the most cost-effective parts), and most of all, EXCELLENT! They take pride in their work!!! Highly recommend them without any hesitation. Number ONE in truck and auto service!

We had a screw embedded in one of our RV tires and were unfamiliar with the area. After calling several tire shops without success, we were actually referred to Steve’s Hillcrest Service Center by another local competitor. We could not be happier with the service we received. Called in the morning and talked with Steve directly and got an appointment a few hours later. Steve was friendly, professional and has a well-run business with quality people working for him. Tire was repaired quickly and we were back on the road. The fact that his competitors recommend him says a lot. Thanks Steve!

Very shady,told me my car was essentially beyond repair(cracked engine block) offered me value based off a weight of vehicle bc that what the scrapyard offers on, then instead of scrapyarding the vehicle he fix’s the vehicle and lists it for sale. shady business tactic

I was happy they got my vehicle in fast and got my air suspension converted over to coil springs and put my brake controller in. Towing my trailer went great with the new suspension. I thought the prices were fair. Would bring my vehicle again if I need something else done.

My Jeep broke down on my way from Madison to Minneapolis and I am so thankful it was towed to Steve’s. Steve and his crew were so communicative and got me in right away. Everyone there was amazing to work with. Hayden and Stephanie gave me rides to and from the rental car shop to help me get on the road to my job. They were able to fix the issue by the next day and I was able to pick up my car on my way back home without missing a beat. Price was more than fair and honestly the customer service was the best I’ve ever had. I will seriously consider driving all the way from Madison to Eau Claire for any major repairs again because of how great they were. 12/10 would recommend! Thank you guys so much!

Rough Car For Clean Retail Price.
Refilled a Leaky A/C unit to sell a black car to a 3rd trimester pregnant lady that had her and the new born in a 100° summer.
Mounted wheels improperly leading to constant air leaks.

Hillcrest Auto does great repair work and is pretty easy to get in for service quickly. They also seem to treat men and women the same which is a huge plus when my daughter or wife visit them. Their prices are way less than a dealership, competitive and the owner is willing to do what he can to match competitive quotes within reason. I had a little run in with them on a recent brake job where they quoted retail prices before the work, but the parts ended up costing less than they quoted. I am not sure if that happens frequently or not, but paying less is always a pleasant surprise. If you want a quality job done on your vehicle, Hillcrest is a solid option.

If you want to get robbed this is a great place to go, They had my car a week and charged me $150 to tell me they didn't know what was wrong with the car. Gave me the run around every time I called for an update and when I finally told them I'm coming to take my car back they charged me $150 just to tell me what I already knew. Last place I'd take my car.

Had car troubles while traveling to Canada on a fishing trip. Was recommended to Steve's Hillcrest Truck &Auto from the local NAPA store. Left my truck for repair not really knowing the coolant leak problem but returned to collect my truck after hours on my return trip. Found the repair done and reasonable. Thank you Steve and crew. Will recommend you to anyone heading your direction.
