The service was horrible, i wouldn't even give them one star. Sheryl served me and my mother and was truly unhelpful. We were setting up a new phone, told to come back in 30 minutes for the set up process which is normal. Came back and she didn't even recongnize we came back to help us. So we had a very nice gentlemen help. The setting up process didnt work because she didn't turn off stolen phone security, which is her job to know. So we continued to wait another hour while the man helped us. She then came over and said, " I didn't even notice you guys were here, or else i would've helped." while we noticed she looked at us walking in and waiting paitiently behind others being helped. Awful experience today in total it took 2 hours and 30 minutes to get a one hour project done.

I have had a spectrum account for about 2 years I decided to add a mobile line and get basic Internet for my home. Should be easy enough right??? Wrong!!! I called I told the lady I wanted to pay my existing bill which was $137 for an old past due and sent to collections to get I owed them as well as $71.42 on my mobile line the legit one. It's pretty interesting how they do business Better commission for new account sales, I thought I added the new services to my legit existing account but what actually happened was rather than apply my payment to my existing Bill and then add new services to the existing legitament acount they went ahead and created a new account in nearly my name only added 4 extra letter D's at the end of my name. I'm positive there is a law being broken here. As a result the money paid did not go to my existing bill but to the new account and I didn't get the promotional price as promised. I now have spent well over 30 hours in the past month on the phone and in person trying to get this straightened out all the while getting harassing phone calls from both the collections agency as well as spectrums own henchmen. They don't think that they should remedy this at all they just think I should pay what they say I owe and be happy. So existing bill increases the $12 from the $71 - $83 the new line was for my son but I wanted him using the old phone on the new phone line and I would get the new phone on the old line. I have literally spent more than 23 hours in there past 17 days attempting to get the phones swapped do my son can use it I have spent over $300 in the same about of time, today I'm told I still owe for the old bill ($137) plus nearly 200 for the new line and Internet I've proved that I didn't owe them anything currently several times now but they have decided that I do and all the money that I have paid really didn't go to anything they're just going to keep it and tell me they can't see the payment horrible horrible business practice very unsatisfied will be calling the better Business bureau and filing a lawsuit worst company ever

Horrible customer service!!!! It's is bitterly cod and windy out today 17 degrees. No good place to park so I walked in carrying all of router modem stuff to return. Get in the store and I walk all the way to the back of the store where nearest customer service representative was not busy he refused to help me and told me he had to walk all the way to the front of the store and check in so I can wait in line!!!!!! The store was not even that busy but I had to wait for 40 minutes. Do not go to this store!!!!!!

Wi-Fi cuts out every 20 minutes. When I try talking to someone, they never respond or they just repeat themselves.

Connor and Trent stopped over and quickly installed everything and even made sure the wiring for my work computer wasn’t exposed for my cats who like to chew on it haha.Quick, friendly and reliable! Thanks guys :)

Services suck they throttle your internet half the time the 300 mps you pay for you only get 50 -150 mps. Very greedy company. TDS is better.

My wife had her phone stolen on Sunday 12/9 which we reported to the police. On 12/10 we traveled the hour to the Eau Claire store to purchase a new one. The great Barron city police were able to recover the old phone so on Thursday 12/14 we went back to the store to return the new phone we no longer needed. That's when insult was added to injury. The customer representative tried his best but the system had a glitch and we were told they would call the next day. It is now 12/20 and I have returned to the store with no satisfaction. .To add more frustrations...The Spectrum system does not allow for customers to call the store. I may have paid more with Verizon, but I could talk with people who could fix issues.

Terrible service. Unreliable. Customer service is bad too. Installation guy showed up almost two hours earlier than the install appointment when I wasn't home, then says it'll be 7-10 business days for them to bury the cable. It's been over a month and a half and the line is still laying on top of my lawn. I've made multiple calls about this and first it wasn't even scheduled, then the date i was told supposedly meant it would happen sometime that week, then a week can apparently be 7-10 business days after the day. They don't have to try because they're the only game in town. And it shows. Do better.

As a resident of Eau Claire Wisconsin, I have been getting ripped off by charter for the last 25 years. Be it on internet, phone service, TV service you name it. They've had their hand in my pocket for the last 25 years as a monopoly in the city of Eau Claire. They will not get another penny from me for the rest of my life.I won't even go into the attitude of the person that I had to talk to to cancel my service. Unbelievable.How the conversation should go:Me - "I'd like to cancel my service"Spectrum: "Ok sir, do you mind if I ask why?"Me - "I'd prefer not to say, please just cancel my service"Spectrum: "Okay sir, here is your confirmation, have a nice day."Finally free from Spectrum! Why did it take so long?

Not worth getting. I canceled due to them increasing the rate. They want you to bundle 5 things with them all the time. I canceled and switched to TDS fiber for $30 less a months.
