Seating and taking order in a timely fashion. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. They know the menu and make good recommendations. Beautiful presentation. 7. Beautiful inside the restaurant, good for photos (photogenic). Food has a unique favor.

We got to Draper's right at 11am since they don't take reservations. There were five of us and we ordered burgers, chicken sandwich and chicken pot pie. We didn't get served our entrees until 12:13pm. Absolutely ridiculous! The restaurant was not even full. Not sure what's wrong but they need to fix it. I won't be going back on our next trip to the Greenbriar. And I don't recommend it to anyone who wants prompt service or a good meal.

Stopped by for fun and ended up having lunch here. Slow service, which wasn't too bad, but decent food and the prices weren't super outrageous. Will say the place is just super cool given the history and the desserts were gigantic. Love the history and the spot, food was totally fine and I'd love to go back, especially if we ever stay at the hotel.

We really did look forward to Drapers. Sadly, the food was cafeteria quality at best. Even the ice cream was meh.

Service great...food I've had much better. I was very disappointed with my blt very dry and nuski bacon was hard as rocks. Very challenging to eat with thick cut tomatoes and thick cut bread. Left most of it on my plate. Cobb salad was as basic as it comes. Not very appealing looking. Not a lot of choices in the GB for lunch. Not what I expected from a GB restaurant

I love this little shop right by the tennis courts at the Greenbrier! They have tons of cute statues and garden decorations. The small cottage only fits a customer or two plus the one employee. Definitely worth a visit if you’re on the resort property.

Overall loved this restaurant! We had lunch here and the fried green tomato sandwich and the club were delicious! The ambiance is great with such a cute style. The only thing I would've liked service wise was our server to tell us that gratuity was already included in the bill ahead of time. It was my first meal on the resort property so didn't realize it. Thankfully every other dining place has told it since.

Service here is really lacking- Completely empty restaurant and 5 people at the front look at you stumped because you don't have a reservation- LITERALLY EMPTY restaurant. Not a single table filled. Ridiculous. In fact no restaurant was good during our week long stay. What a shame especially in a food dessert. Hotel grounds are pretty but no reason to return when the food is so awful At ridiculously insane prices.

I absolutely loved the Kentucky Hot Brown and their strawberry ice cream. I was told that their ice cream is made in house. Word to the wise, their mint chip ice cream tastes like it is made with real mint. I love artificial mint flavor but I'm not a fan of the real deal. The manager, Lester, is about as kind and accommodating as they come. I would recommend Drapers over the main dining room of the Greenbrier any day!

We decided to pop in on a Sunday afternoon before we went on the bunker tour. There was no wait which we loved and the decor was so fun. We didn't want to eat too heavy so we split the nachos and I had a chocolate milkshake. Once we ordered the food and drinks came out pretty fast. The milkshake had a great flavor but there were large chunks of ice cream still not mixed in which was disappointing. The nachos were very interesting, it was new to us to have a wonton chip but they were light and crisp, the bbq sauce however was not our favorite. It looked and tasted identical to ketchup. We spent the whole time trying to figure out if it was, we were sure it was. It was way too over powering and made it difficult to eat off the places it touched and all the cheese sauce was on the bottom of the plate so it was hard to get to. The pork on it was good and tender but that was about the best part and there was not that much of it. Our server was hard to find and we had to wait a very long time for him to even come over for us to ask for the check. Overall it was just okay.

We have eaten lunch here many times in the past. I can say I was sadly disappointed in my food this time. My husband ordered a Cobb Salad. This was the most pitiful Cobb salad that I've ever seen. Very little salad to be considered a meal-size portion. He was still hungry when we left. Definitely NOT Greenbrier standard food! The service was excellent although they were extremely busy and it took 50 minutes to get our food after ordering. My tuna melt was good but still not anything special. I expected more from this famous resort. I'd rather pay more and get better quality food. Cutting corners is not good for anyone.

Drapers is a wonderful dining experience! The decor alone is worth checking out Drapers! Every detail is considered and nothing forgotten. The food and service is impeccable! I would definitely recommend eating here if you have a chance!

Stopped here for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. They don't take reservations, but get really busy so my recommendation is to go down and out your name on the wait list 30min before you want to eat, and shop in the boutiques to kill some time. We ordered the deviled eggs which were good- though pedestrian. Even with the different garnishes, just was a normal recipe to me. Would have been nice to have them jazzed up in some manner. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich which comes with jalapeño sauce. I added sweet potato fries but there wasn't syrup available to dip them in. If you dip yours in ketchup you need serious help. Good news is they are good on their own. The sandwich was good - I asked for mayonnaise to add to the top, as the jalapeño sauce soaked into the lettuce and bun. The breading was perfect on the chicken and well-seasoned, and the chicken was still juicy as well. For dessert I went solo and got the carrot cake- which the photo doesn't do justice. It was huge. I think the entire resort restaurants' cakes boast tall slices. Very good - and had to hammer down the last part of it so I didn't waste. I like this place - definitely a lunch spot. And they have a ice cream parlor type bar where you can walk in and get scoops or desserts.

Located inside the Greenbriar Hotel, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem for those that don't know about it. I recommend the Ruben, the burger, or the Greenbrier club (which at the time of writing this review) includes both ham and turkey along with bacon and other condiments. Friendly waitstaff and classic Decour surround this beautiful restaurant that serves great food a drinks. If you want to go back in time with modern food and friendly staff - visit Drapers for sure!! A must do in West Virginia!
