Just called today at 8:57 the lady answered and said we are not open yet and hung up on me called back at 8:59 she finally answered again and said we are not open yet but she said she answered the phone because she didn’t want to hear it ring after that I said never mind I’ll take my business else where because how rude she was.

I had a horrible experience with the cashier,Gwen or Gwenith something like that. I went with my daughter, son and grandson.. I had 100 bill 40plus dollars worth of items I understand the no 50s or 100s but when I told her I'd be right back to go get change she told me NO. Straight no and told me to go cause the "the baby" (that is my grandson) was cranky. She then told us rudely to have a good day when we was figuring out another payment option pushing us out the door. Very VERY rude person. I will not be back

St. Vincent thrift store was once a fun place to shop. Sadly that’s not the case in 2023. There were some management changes and the store has a completely different atmosphere. I thought it was a place to help poor people like myself. Seems many of these “non-profit” organizations nowadays are mainly about profit off of donations, unwilling to work with people's situation's. Everything is down to the last penny. Don’t be short a penny or you may not get that blanket you need to stay warm in the winter. I just know I St. Vincent thrift store has changed a lot, and not for the better.☹️

This place is pretty brilliant. There are tons of options, the organization is pristine, and the variety is impressive.

I've tried to drop off really nice blankets and clothes twice now and they will only take "a couple of bags and that's it". Nothing after 4pm either. I work 8-4 daily so it hard for me to do drop offs prior. Previous management was so much friendlier and helpful. You would think they would be more grateful for community stepping up and donating, especially really nice stuff.

Used to be great but since new management took over, all of the good stuff has dissapeared, the prices are higher, the shelves are empty and they are restricting donations.

Not a good experience. Needed help and went there with a voucher. Everything I picked out that was halfway decent they said no to because "no one pays them for vouchers" is what I was told. Now I totally understand that they need to make money with stuff that is donated to them. They could've been nicer. I did find a couch outta the stuff I could pick from but when I called and asked if they can hold it an extra day since I wouldn't have a way to get it til then I was told that they had other ppl coming in for furniture so they'd have to put it out. I heard the women in the background asking if it was the one with the voucher smh. I also went to YSS and the Salvation army and was treated great. If your wanting to donate stuff that you hope will help ppl or buy stuff I would highly advise you do it at one of those 2 places.

I use to love that place but the new people running it are something else …. I got a karaoke machine there she said it works fine I ask if I could bring it back if it don’t she said no so I gave it a shot my fault it didn’t work I just figured lesson learned … the other day I was in there she had a stereo for 65 dollars looks like it needs trashed but I wanted to work with it so I ask if I could get it for 40 cause it wasn’t working… she said no and walked away from me …. very rude people in there to me anyway … I’ll stay away now that I see how they are .

Great place with great stuff! I found a salt lamp for my reiki room, pillows for my meditation room and a picture that looks like me holding a plant and I love plants all for like $19! The 2 ladies working there were so nice and a genuine delight to talk to! Highly recommend :)

Great finds, nice helpful staff. Glad some money goes to needy people. Could we cut back on the money going to bishops and popes. I mean have you read and witnessed they're behavior?

Place was really nice minus the mean lady at the counter. They have slot of nice things upstairs and downstairs. We found a few items to buy and when we got to the counter the Lady was hitting her dog with a yard stick yelling at it because it was barking. It made me very upset. As we walked the store she was screaming at it too and she seemed abusive. Then she yelled at us for petting it to calm it. Then I asked for her to come down a few dollars on an item and she just had to say no and that was fine but she jumped down my throat about it. Then she rang us up wrong because the items downstairs are 50% off and when we said something about it she then said rudely that we need to tell her that and seemed upset because she had to give money back. Then tried to say if the item is under a dollar it’s not 50% off and the sign said everything but furniture. I’d love to shop there again but her attitude and animal abuse was upsetting.
