I had taken my lizard here when I knew the outcome was not going to be good. Everyone here was very kind and compassionate and I even received a condolences card in the mail afterwards. Yes, we waited a long time, but that happens at an UC/ER place when more urgent patients come in and I do not fault the employees for that. Overall, my experience was fantastic given the circumstances.

So my Ollie is in a dog fight, he is an inside dog and this was a freak accident, his poor eyeball is hanging out and they won’t see him because I only have a thousand dollars and they want 2 thousand . We’re are the ethics. When this place started with Dr. Carl G Sparling, DVM, it was all about saving the animal…. How sad it’s all about money while my dog suffers! Dr. Shondrick needs to go- she’s a money hungry veterinarian
if you want to call her a veterinarian.
I will be calling the West Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine! Oh and $800 just for antibiotics smh. If my dog dies!!!!!

My daughter’s GSD puppy got stung by a yellow jacket and her eyes were instantly swelling. Within 8 minutes I called them and in that time, after giving Benadryl, her lips then started to swell. They first told me they start seeing appointments at 3, but after I told them what was going on they told me to head that way now…. I knew just as well as they did that it was serious with the fast reaction! Her eyes were almost completely swollen shut in the 20 minute drive it took to get there. They took great care of our Nala girl, and couldn’t be happier with their care to get her the shots administered right when we got there, AND to leave her with her people while they did it!!! Very grateful for their whole team today!!!?

Though it was a very sad time for my little girl and husband and I having to come here because we had to euthanize my bunny because he wasnt eating or drinking and also was paralyzed and couldnt move. I didnt want him to suffer anymore.Everyone here was so kind and caring and understanding and could tell actually felt bad. The Dr also came out and talked to me afterwards and comforted me and also made me aware of what happened to our Remy and though we are devastated what happened to him and makes me feel worse knowing I am able to save his other friend from "Flystrike" and the larvae found in the cage. Cleaned it so well and will be everyday even more!! I am freaked out and just sick about this happening to him. Also very upset about the other vet I took him to 2 days previous that did an exam on him and did not find this.He could have maybe have been saved. Thanks so much for caring and I wish I was able to find an avaliable appt the 2 days previous to bring him here from the start.

I took my dog, Heidi, in to be seen last night due to her getting stung. Heidi went in to anaphylaxtic shock and was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis as well. I cannot praise Dr. Shondrick and her staff enough for helping us! I called on our way to the hospital, the staff was prepared for our arrival and they instantly went to work to help save her life! Today, Dr. Shondrick called me to see if Heidi's symptoms had improved and said she would do another follow-up on Monday. I have been to animal urgent cares in the past and have never received this type of wonderful treatment. I can honestly say Dr. Shondrick and her staff have hearts of gold and I am beyond thankful for them! They are heroes in my book! THANK YOU SO MUCH, ALL OF YOU! From the bottom of my heart, I am so very grateful and thankful for you!

Tonight my gecko passed away, was suffering from a severe prolapse that occurred rather rapidly, every single one of the staff and doctors went above and beyond our expectations at our worst moments with her. Compassion and empathy was awesome, they did not over promise what they could do to fix her, and in the end we made the best decision for her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

They lie about the times that they are open on their website and on the phone and sometimes only choose to accept pets if they feel like it. Sometimes they close two hours early just because they wanna leave early. Not really an "emergency" vet in that case

0 stars! Do yourself a favor and drive to Pittsburgh. This lady was desperate for money. After being stuck in a room with thin walls for 2 hours we could here everyone else getting a similar terrifying story. She wanted to knock my cat out to express his bladder. The Pittsburgh vet simply used her hands to feel. This is the price difference for the same cat different vet! Do not let this lady use the love of your pets to manipulate your wallet!!!!!!

I've been taking my dog's here for about 3 years doctor and their staff is very respectful and gentle with my pets their little pricey but if you love your pet it's worth it.

Absolutely love this clinic we took our hedgehog here and he was in such good hands with both Dr. Shondrick and the technicians. Dr shondrick is very knowledgeable and explains everything well! Will 100% recommend this clinic to anyone
