I do not believe these postive reviews. Because no matter how many times I call, I never get a competent person to tell me what I need to know or help me. Travel never gets back with you. They are so lazy with their trip pack and actually refuses to even help you plan a trip which is what we PAY for. The membership people cannot answer any questions and always just send me to another department. Roadside tells me it's a membership question. I'm so frustrated. Now prices are raising? Save your money and don't make this place your home AAA if you want what you lay for actually utilized.
UPDATE: Customer service told me this isn't their first complaint so I hope they do something.

Rep at Wheeling store provided excellent service. Called because locked key in car and 800 number could not hear my call. Walked into local office and she handled everything.

It’s a joke. You break down and call them for a tow. You get a phone automation response, then you are placed on hold. All the while, it’s dark and cold, cars are zooming past you 40 - 50 miles per hour. You are still on hold 15 minutes later. Rediculous. You are not safe, your vehicle is not safe, your battery is going dead from the emergency flashers and you remain on hold. This is what we are paying for? Not me any more. There has got to be other options out there.

With the DMV shutting down for Covid. It made perfect sense to join AAA for the title services. The staff is usually more friendly and helpful than the ones at the DMV. This has dramatically changed. The person doing title services in Wheeling is nasty, unfriendly, even hostile Unless you want to be given a bad time, as bad if not worse than WV DMV, avoid this place.

I joined to get towing assistance the same day I joined. It was a$75 fee. I chose the $89.00 package that includes 100 miles towing option. After all of this, she proceeds to call me a tow truck for only 3 miles and said I would have to pay the rest of the miles. I told her that was not going to happen due to funds. I asked her to put the $75 back on my card, she puts me on hold, she came back on and said I think we can do that and I informed her that it better be done!!! I am giving them 3 days to make this happen, or I will have to court actions. Not using them anymore, I will by the package that comes with the insurance!!! Thank you.
