“I was shopping for a new couch. I found the couch I wanted at Pac5, but due to the price decided to keep shopping. I went to another place and the service was horrible. We went back to PAC5 and I got the couch I fell in love with. The price was a little high BUT the service person Dustin was so wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the piece we bought. He educated us on warranty options and delivery. He let us take our time to make such a big decision. AND unlike the other store, he addressed my questions (that’s important because I’m a female and ran into a competitor company sales person who ignored my questions but answered my boyfriend’s). Dustin also did not make me feel like I was being taken advantage of nor just out to make a sale! Good job! I’ll definitely go back to checkout options for my other furniture needs.”

“I took the mud painting class in February. Well worth the experience. Had never been to Homestead House before and didn't know what to expect. Very nice shop and really enjoyed the class. I had only experience with milk painting, which turns out well, but takes much longer and you have less control because the milk paint sometimes chips in large areas. The milk paint I used came in a powder, so you had to mix yourself. I much prefer the mud paint. Just a light sanding to prepare wood. The mud paint is thicker, but goes on smoothly and dries much quicker. I did a wood shelf and was able to put on two coats and the final wax in class and still finished early. I had another shelf at home that I did milk paint on, and because of the drying time of paint and liquid wax, the process took 3 days. I will be going to buy mud paint for sure over the milk paint.”
