I have filed 2 complaints about a broken pole in my yard and they came and looked at it and said it was going to fall and it’s dangerous and a crew was on there way with a new pole and it would be fixed TODAY well that hasn’t happened!! It’s dangerous to myself and my family. I have to keep my family inside because it’s so dangerous.. shame on you for making my family a hostage in our own home.

We had the pleasure of having Mike Hatfield come to our home today to restore our internet and phone service. He is one of the most polite, thorough and knowledgeable service professionals we have ever had help us! He did not leave our home until every device was up and running properly. We appreciate that! Little things like that are big things to us! Thank you, Mike, for your excellent service!

Man, I sure do love monopolies that charge $160 in low income areas for some of the slowest internet I've ever heard of. Meanwhile I get gigabit internet for half that in my area. I'm just here on behalf of a friend to thank you personally.

For as expensive as Shentel is, on top of having data caps, you would expect the service to be what they advertise it to be. I understand they say "up to" 50 Mbps for their lowest internet package but more often than not you're getting half that download speed or less. The download times for large files are on par with dial up speeds majority of the time it seems and lately hasn't been conducive for much anything. We have had problems with the internet going out multiple times a day for years, slow internet when it does work, we pay an arm and a leg for the only provider available here, and there is no way the bandwidth is so congested so frequently that download speeds are between 10-20 Mbps (even pre-COVID). If you have the option for another provider go with them, they can't be any worse than Shentel.

I have not had the problems with connection or customer service others have. AND you have to love the 50 MB service during covid (I pay for 10). I noticed it a month before the ads for it came on TV.

Internet provided by Shentel is unreliable and inconsistent. We pay for 50mbps and normally get around 6. They won’t fix your connection unless you hound them day after day, even then it’ll only be fixed for a week or so. It’s a shame they are the only real option in my area. Avoid if possible
