I like this place cause it's really close by and it's got alot of items I like but it stopped serving this one sauce I like a couple months ago and I got a carrot cake and that mf was dry but it wasn't awful

The manager at the Wellsburg, WV Kroger grocery store is a cheater, and she refused to give me 7.79 back for pan ENTENNMAN's fudge cake, which was advertised buy-one get one free on 4/30/23. The small placards had been placed all around the ENTENNMAN's pastry stand, and on 5/1/23, when I presented the receipt, she argued with me. I told her that the cake was one of the products listed for the buy one get one free sale, but apparently she'd rather lose a customer than give the money back. She was worried about a measly two dollars and refused to give me my $7.79 back for the buy one get one free.. I was irate that she was worried about such a small amount. I then told them what I thought all the way out to my car. So caveat emptor. This store and it's people will cheat you, and they're not very good at customer service. I will never shop there again. Beware!

It seems like the freezer section and coolers are not well stocked but the friendliness of the Kroger employees makes it worthwhile. Stock better.

Don't buy the corn with the husks removed at Kroger in Wellsburg. It was on a rack in the back at the end of the bread aisle. We bought a 4 pack for $2.99. It tasted awful like chemicals.

This Wellsburg Kroger location used to be such a nice store. With years of management changes, it has gone downhill:. I have been there in the evenings and witnessed customers struggling to use the motorized carts and employees in the front would totally ignore the customer; they don't stay stocked well. When I've been there to shop different days and times of the week, the frozen meals always need restocking or there'd be 1 or 2 in the back of the shelf and I'd have to stand in the cooler to reach them (I'm short); also, part of the outside lights have been out for months; I have seen old oranges sitting out in the produce section. I contacted customer service about the two issues, and they didn't seem interested in correcting them. This is such a disappointing store -- if Wellsburg had another grocer, I would take ALL my Kroger business to them.

I'm so glad that everyone now has to wear masks and they have a stocked sanitization station.
