Wonderful caring people doing a great service for the community. I was fortunate enough to spend some time there supporting them and see first hand what a blessing they are for Webster Springs and the surrounding area.

We stayed up the road at Tuttle Farm and saw the suggestion to donate extra food. We took ours up there and the people were so wonderful. This place is busy all day & clearly ran by kind, caring people.

This local mission is a wonderful place that is always helping anyone they can in the community. They typically distribute food on Thursdays and have some different things from time to time to help the community

I would have to disagree with Gary and Lily having a heart of gold as is stated in the previous revue. My Aunt Hallie who is also Lily's sister stayed with them in 2013. Gary had her writing out checks to him that totaled $2900. My Aunt was having problems with her memory which I feel they were taking advantage of. Sadly Hallie passed away in December. I am in charge of her estate and after going over the life insurance and what little bit of money that was left, will not be able to place a marker on her grave. I have called and left messages and they will not return my calls. How they can call themselves Christians is beyond me! The thing that people should be concerned about is how many other elderly people have they taken advantage of! If you would like proof of my allegations feel free to contact me at

Gary and Lily Melton both have a heart of gold! They have run this mission for decades, and serve as the only source of food and clothing for many of the local residents. They exist on donations from around the country, and live by faith. The mission itself contains a living space upstairs for the Meltons, and downstairs they house a food pantry, dining area, chapel and warehouse. In the back garage they have more storage and a clothing room. They are run by a volunteer staff (family members, friends, and church groups), and are currently building a dormitory on the property. Every time our church travels to Webster Springs, we are blessed by the service of this organization, as we are there to bless others.
