I was pleasantly surprised by the accomodations. For a campground, the trailer had everything we needed. They even supplied cooking oil, spices, dish liquid, complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels! There were games and puzzles and even a playground right across the road from our site. The beds were so comfortable too. My kids and grandkids had a great time and so did I. Will definitely stay there again!! Plus it's right outside of town and convenient to the Custard Stand and their hotdogs with chili and their donuts....mmmm!!Rooms: Comfortable!!Nearby activities: Fishing, tubing, shopping....all just a walk away!Safety: So quiet and peaceful.Walkability: Across the road from a great park..Bakers Island.Food & drinks: Way too close to the Custard Stand ☺️?Noteworthy details: A great value, close to so many things, and they even had bikes for the kids to ride!

What a great campsite owned and operated by a local family. Angie is really great about making the impossible possible. Even with last minute changes, she was able to accommodate our requests. I can't speak highly enough of experience by the river.

We have been here 3x in 3 years. We keep hoping for some updates/additions but no. Still no playground ( i know there is one across the street at a park but not as convenient if one was on site). This last time we chose a water/electric site that we were the only ones in the little loop which was great/quiet. Saw the guy mowing asked if he was going to mow ours and he said no, someone was coming later in the day. No one ever showed up. The grass was ankle high or above all weekend. It does have GREAT access to the elk river and close to burgoo. Pretty much a free for all. The pond was nice for fishing and watching the ducks.
