Baker’s Island is a nice little park area with plenty of tables, shelters and a nice little stream next to unique rocks in the creek. The place is very pretty and beautiful, a quick break from the curvy road. It is a great place for birthday parties, family reunions, swimming at the pool, walking the walk trail, fishing and taking kids to the playground. The newer safe playground equipment, clean restrooms and nice picnic area with pavilion and picnic tables wonderful to sit, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Reservations required for large pavilions.

Very pretty. Stopped quick to get a break from the curvy road. Town is beautiful. Would like to check this place out longer.
