I tried buying a garden tractor in the store. It was a train wreck!! No one there in "customer service" knew what they were doing, and appeared more interested in talking about their weekend. I did customer service for 33 years and not only was I treated poorly but I felt like a pain in the butt to a couple of the reps that I will not name. I came home and completed the transaction on line. It's sad that I knew more about what to do than the actual "professionals" did.....SAD I'm from Vienna, WV, not SF California. I adjusted the rating from 1 to 3 stars. Customer service in Atlanta was very helpful and the delivery rep went above and beyond in helping me.

I ordered a Honda Mower and used the home delivery option based on the statement get by Thursday 4/22. FedEx shows that my mower will be delivered as stated. I waited all day and at 6:00pm I tried to reach FedEx but only got an automated chat. After more than 2 hours calling texting and emailing they update the tracking to say delivery date unavailable. Home Depot gets an F for using FedEx!FedEx advised me to join their premier group to get all of the information I asked for. For free they don't know, BUT, pay us to be in our premium club and we will tell you where your mower is. FedEx is BAD!

In the midst of remodeling an older home for our daughter who is an Intervention Specialist for pre-school children, we experienced very good consumer service in all departments. Doug however in the check out area would not honor our 10% discount which ALL other cashiers have honored. After paying per debit card ( cash,) he followed us to the transport vehicle not to assist with unloading..... rather monitoring the box on the bottom which we conveyed was crushed on the end. W

If they do not have something in stock, don't expect to get it in a timely matter. The communication from them is atrocious, I had to make contact with them when my stove has not shown up 3 days after it was expected. Come to find out it was broken during shipping, it happens, it's the fact they never bothered to reach out to let me know that gets to me. In the following weeks, not days, but weeks, I was told multiple different stories as to why my stove had not shown up yet. Come to find out it was never reordered. Nothing was done about it, not even an apology, so I took my business elsewhere.

I purchased a washer/dryer combo on 2/9. It was delivered on 2/15, and I washed 2 loads of laundry on 2/16. On 2/17 I washed a third load, and when I went to do the 4th load, my washer would not work. I contacted Home Depot, who got me in contact with Fridgidare. They connected me to The Factory Warranty who set up for a technician to come to my home. He came and had the wrong part, so he had to order the right one. this home depot always has the most friendly helpful employees. everyone has always been eager to help out and answer any questions i have had about any home improvement projects i have come there for. we got a new custom kitchen island and cabinet doors from their design department and were very happy with how everything turned out. we love the paint department and their regular employees there who always let my daughter help w mixing paint makes her love this store even more than we do.

My mother-in-law bought a standard refrigerator and it still wasn't delivered for 2 weeks. When the delivery guys showed up their box truck was too large for the road and driveway and their lift gate was broke. Then a second attempt was made on 12/22 and the refrigerator was dented in two places and they tried to persuade her to take it for $50 off. She said no. Now the soonest they can deliver is Jan. 5. It's taken a month to get this standard item and my mother-in-law is too nice. Home Depot should be giving her $100 just for her troubles. I would have told Home Depot no thanks and went to Lowes. Lesson learned. Get your appliances anywhere other than Home Depot.

This place is a complete joke no one knows where anything is it took me 56 mins just to find the right person to help me I got pushed from sales associates to sales associates and still left with the wrong merchandise! I know ppl need to learn but y'all gotta train these new ppl correctly!

We had to get some flooring for a bedroom and Jeremy M. in that department was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with us discussing the best options and answering all of our questions. He was very very helpful and didn't try to rush us through. Thank you Jeremy.

Ordered carpet from Home Depot. After 9 days they said it was out of stock. Went to the home depot store where I bought it. They said, "It's not our problem. We just place the order. The installers and manufacturer handle that." I go for my second choice and change colors. The lady had to cancel the first order and reorder the whole thing. It was really a lot of trouble for her. No apology, no nothing. My son tried to warn me. You sell a product and then say that it is not your problem? Contacted corporate. Got a chain email saying they would look into it. 8 days later and still nothing. Terrible. Lowe's isn't much better but at least they did remedy the situation and apologize.

I got a Kraftmaid cabinet quote here that was outrageous. It was $7,000 than custom cabinets. I got a quote for 60% the price for the exact Kraftmaid cabinets at Contractor Buildings Supply.When I followed up and mentioned this to the sales person they had very minimal response and didn't even try to explain it or alter the plans. If I hadn't talked to friends about it, I wouldn't have known how overpriced they were.
