I've been dealing with Bob's Auto for more than 20 years now. Him and his son Bobby are excellent mechanics and know exactly what they're doing. Bob's Auto always has cars out front waiting to be repaired and they are always busy and very friendly and knowledgeable.

I love Bob's Auto service they always help me out with my car problems they don't try to rip me off because I am female I had that happen before not here other places they fix my car and affordable they helped me 3 times to fix my car I am on Fixed income don't have bunch money they still help me out God Bless him and his workers all are awesome

I was driving through the area and my truck started making a tapping noise so I took it here because it was the closest garage. He figured out that it was a stuck lifter with the help of YouTube. He tried to get it to pop loose by tapping on it with an extension and a hammer and while he was doing that I heard something crunch inside. I got it home and me and a buddy took it apart and found that the lifter had broke and when I drove it home the pieces fell down into the rest of the engine and ruined it so now it either needs rebuilt or a new engine. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The guy is careless and doesn't get back to me about it

Since nothing is going to be done, then I guess I'll just have to make a post about this. Do not go here EVER. I had a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8 Turbo taken here in September of 2022 for a tuneup. I got new spark plugs put in, in the process and the car ran fine for about 6-8 months. On the day of my wedding rehearsal, my entire car seized up and started shaking, with my entire dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree and I had to pull off and almost get it towed home. I was lucky to only be around 5 minutes from home so I could park my now damaged vehicle safely. I had to pay to get it towed to the dealer I bought the car off of in the first place. The mechanic / care salesman who I have been buying off of for at least 3-4 years looked over the destroyed engine and found that the spark plugs that were installed were for a 2.0 cylinder engine (which I still have saved in a bag) and the installment of these wrong spark plugs legitimately melted my engine. When I called to bring the issue up the mechanic I spoke with sloppily and incoherently claimed they had "no record" of my appointment and muttered a "I'll look into this and call you back." Which of course I never received a call back. This level of incompetence is absolutely unacceptable. I am still looking into this further of what to do.
