Management is disrespectful on all levels even in front of customers. Lots of workers on the floor don't care about the customers or even to help all they wanna do is complain, be on their phones and some wanna go near the doors section and puff on their vapes. The only good thing about this place is the cashiers, who from what I've seen, get the ugly disrespectful end of what everyone else cause and it's terrible

I'm from out of town, visiting my mother-in-law in West Virginia for Christmas. there are always a few little repair/improvement projects that need attention when we come to visit.having replaced the 30 year old light socket in the garage and made an improvement to the mailbox it was time to tackle the kitchen cabinet shelf I went in search of a shelf bracket.Lowe's in Summersville is the place to go. this is a particularly hard part to find, even or perhaps especially in a place like Lowe's that has so many items.Jeff Nichols (sp?) (asst manager) to the rescue. Jeff knows this store and its offerings like no one else. he not only took the time to walk us to the right aisle and bay he also let me know in advance that this might not be a perfect fit but that a minor modification might make it work. Once back at grandma's house the repair was made and all is in order. It's not everyday that you encounter someone who both knows the store offerings and embodies the the customer service ethic. It was a $2.50 purchase, but Jeff treated us as if we were pyschasing a complete kitchen remodel. I was fortunate to hook up with Jeff and Lowe's is fortunate to have him in their employ.

Had a deck project. Began process in Oct 2022. As of this date, it still isnt complete. Have been given the complete "run around" from the salesman Paul with Lowes, the so called PRO installers (claims to be general contractor) and now Lowes Executive customer service rep. To say how disappointed I am in the service I received along with the damage done to my property is at times beyond words. When I first inquired (and no real decision to utilize them) about a deck project was assured that I would be well taken care of their salesman and the PRO installers. The salesman comes to my home to review and give estimate. Spent more time bragging about his million dollar sales and less time about really looking at what I needed. Should have realized there was going to be issues when his quote was changed - claimed railing was a little more expensive and the contractors wanted move to remove and haul away old decking. Okay - as long as I get the results I was promised. Well, that didnt happen. Contractors not showing up as promised - dont even call and I am taking off work to be there. Lack of project management from all parties, whether its the salesman not ordering the correct materials or Lowes not sending what was needed. Had to wait additional weeks because fascia boards not ordered. Took off another day of work to be home and what a surprise -didnt show up or call. I only got a call AFTER i finally got ahold of the executive customer relations rep and then the salesman. Lame excuses and finger pointing once again. Still lacked materials to complete the stairs. The damage that was done to my property is inexcusable and demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism by a supposed contractor and a franchise like Lowes. NEVER attempted to even clean up after the install. Damaged water spigot in basement. Apparently several of the crew spent more time laying around smoking that working. The "owner" used his time to make inappropriate and condescending comments/remarks. While I hate to even say this - I believe that a lot of what happened was due to being a single woman. Guess they felt they could take advantage. I will attempt to attach a few photos and these dont even speak to what my property looks like now. There was also damage caused my Lowes delivery who came onto my property without my knowledge. Asked the contractors about the 2 pallets of materials being left on my lawn. Was told Lowes wouldnt take them back since this was considered a "special project". Came home the next day to find large, huge, deep tire tracks in my backyard and over on my neighbors property as well (ALL parties were instructed to respect my neighbors property lines). Honestly thought that someone had robbed me. WELL, apparently the salesman sent Lowes delivery back and told them to pick up items. Yet I received no call or any form of communication they were coming. Couldnt believe people would come to another's property and leave it in the condition it was and not do anything. Customer service must be a think of the past. I'm still fighting with the Executive Customer Service on this matter. What monetary amount being offered is an insult. While the money is important is more the principal. All I wanted was what I was promised and paid for and not put my property back to the way it was found. There was a time a customer would never have to worry. Those days appear gone. I do NOT recommend Summersville Lowes. The Salesman got his quota and perhaps his commission for the month and the contractors certainly walked away with more money in their pockets. And let's not forget - the Lowes stores overselling materials. Angry Customer

Now featuring damaged goods at full price! Second time they have sent me a damaged item. First time it was a dented refrigerator...when all your food is sitting in coolers in your kitchen, are you really going to tell them to put it back on the truck? No, you aren't. This time, it was a washing machine. Huge dent down the side and back. No choice again...we were leaving town, needed to wash clothes, and had already waited several days. Worst part was, we scheduled for afternoon delivery so we could be there to inspect the washer when it came off the truck. They came before 11:00 and called after the fact. "You just want us to leave this on the porch?" Sure, I'd love to give one of my neighbors a free washer. Again, we're at work...what do you do? Tell them to bring it back tomorrow? You tell them to leave it and hope that it's there when you get home. So, after finding the damage, it was either return it and wait several days for a replacement and let the clothes pile up, or just eat the damage and hope that it doesn't affect how it works long term, which is what we ended up doing.Because, I mean, who doesn't have days to remove, install, remove, install, and remove washing machines, right? Called and asked to talk to a supervisor. Excuse was that the deliveries were by an independent contractor and Lowe's has no control over them. Then why offer the option to schedule delivery times? Ridiculous. They. Don't. Care. Full stop. End of story. Long as they get their money, they're fine with whatever. If you're going to buy from here, take your own haul vehicle (or borrow one), inspect everything CAREFULLY and make sure you get exactly what you paid for.

The most unfriendly…unhelpful Lowes I have ever encountered. Bought paint today and the guy at the counter was less than sociable. This is not the first of such encounters at this store. We usually drive to Fayetteville just because of this. Sad
