Closed my account today because the reason I had it was for ATM access. The last 4 times I’ve been there is has been down and I only use the ATM a few times a year.

I love having my business account with City. Their mobile app is easy to navigate, and everything about your account is transparent and laid out to you in a way that's easily understood.They are willing to work with you in dealing with fraudulent issues that may arise and are eager to assist in a number of ways. The employees at the drive-thru are consistent in their work and exemplary in their customer service.I would highly recommend this bank to anyone in the Kanawha Valley. You won't be disappointed.The atm cash/check deposit option is a dream come true for those of us who work during the evening hours.All-around A+ service!!

I dont personally dont have an account with City National Bank but the place that i work for uses them so thats where i get my pay checks cashed and the tellers are the nicest people they know me by name and they dont charge a fee to cash their own checks unlike BB&T who charges an $8 fee to cash one of their own checks if you dont have an account with them!

Always great customer service! Kind kind kind tellers! Have banked with them for 30 years! Outstanding job from the leadership as well! Always involved with the community! Hands down the best on the area! Particularly St Albans! Clean and quick! 2 ATM’s. Close to Gasoline and eateries as well!

Drive safe supposed to be closed at 6:00 but when I pulled in at 5:50 they were closed. Plus They like to run your biggest bills through first followed by these smaller ones so you get charged overdraft fees. They've got in trouble for this before but yet they still do it so I recommend you watch your statements

I guess you only get great service if you know them cause every time I go to St.Albans City National to deposit money, most of the times I pull up another pulls up after I have sent my deposit... and gets served before me! Also everytime I pull up I do not get greeted before handling my transaction, If I send a check to deposit they cash it cause they dont ask if I want to deposit it but however, when I bring cash to deposit they ask would you like to deposit this..!?!?!??? What else would I want to do with the cash I just sent you... I go out of my way to avoid the St.Albans Branch and if it keeps up I am looking elsewhere for a more friendly bank!

ATM machines outside the building are much slower and time consuming than nearby competitor banks. If you use Zelle, this bank is NOT for you, as you will be unable to transfer funds.
The banking app is low quality, visually boring, and simply does not compare to banking apps of, say, Chase and BB&T, for example. Available funds, at least as shown in the app, are not always up-to-date. There have been MANY times when my available funds will show as XXXX one moment, and then show a number that is dramatically different later, after having made no purchases or withdrawals. Examining the activity on my reveals that old purchases, some over a week old, had not been deducted from my available funds.
I find myself having to keep a log of my spending and withdrawals to have an accurate count of my actual funds, they way we had to do twenty-plus years ago when writing checks were still a thing.
If you bank with multiple institutions, this bank is ok as a non-primary. If you use one bank, avoid this one and just go across the street to BB&T, hop online and make an account with Chase (or drive to a Chase branch).
