Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can from this place. There so-called teachers are NOT qualified and honestly have no business teaching children. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. THERE ARE SO MANY NICER DAYCARES IN CHARLESTON.

It's a big family at Oakhurst!! My daughter has been going there since the age of 1. Everyone is so nice, and respectful!!!

Do yourself a favor and run as far away from this place as possible. Trust me when i say do not send your kids here.Teachers yell at the others teacher and cuss at kids. do not, they may say there are "qualified" but they are not.

Oakhurst First Presbyterian Child Development Center is located inside the First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston. We have been in business since 1980 and are a licensed and TIER II certified center. Our teachers are highly credentialed as well as first aid/CPR trained. We serve ages 1-12 with after school pick-up as well as a KCS Pre-K program and a funtastic summer camp for school age children. We have an open door policy for all of our families and encourage you to come and visit our classrooms anytime to share in the fun!
