While I gave the Town center location a one star review, I'll give this one a 5 based on employee kindness alone. Bravo.

Management has poor customer service skills. They will tell you one thing then reverse policy next time you are in. Don't buy a new controller with a warranty they will only give you a refurbished as a replacement, might as well save your money and get a refurbished from the start. If you express your displeasure with their new policy the weird little girl working the desk will get triggered and ask you to leave

Employees need better customer service skills. I purchased 2 used controllers that did not work or charge at all. Finally I paid the difference and opted for a new one. Was told even though I purchased the protection for 2 years they would replace it with a used controller and make sure I bring it back within a day! I will not be renewing my pro membership this year! Between this location and Crosslanes location the employees need better customer service. Do NOT buy a used controller from GameStop.

Brought my kid in today looking for a blue PS5 controller, but they didn't have one. Ended up leaving with some Pokémon stuff and Julia was an absolute delight. She made my kid's day by giving them a bag with Pokémon characters on it and talking to them about their favorite ones.

They need more people working during the holidays. Only 2 people and the store was packed without enough space to even move around in there. They were sold out of Pokémon cards, had game cases on display for games they didn't have in stock, and they sell more junk than they do games now, that they can no longer carry anything older than 2 generations. And when I pulled the sticker off the earbuds they charged me $14.99 for, it had been placed over stickers that said $8.99 and $9.99 and said "was $14.99" (see photo). I feel like I just got robbed.

Julia is almost always there when my boyfriend and I go in and she always does an amazing job. She's a hard worker who's very friendly and conversational. A great catch for this store for sure!

When I went in with my girlfriend to trade in her PS4, they wouldn't take it because of the damaged controller sticks. They said it would knock $40 off the trade value, but it costs like 10¢ for a new stick for the controller. I would have potentially been okay with buying a used controller to go with the trade so I wouldn't lose so much on the value, but they didn't even have any in stock. Perhaps if they would focus on actually selling games and controllers instead of filling every empty space of the store with useless collectibles and Funko Pops, they would have had a controller for me to buy. I guess they should change their name to CollectibleStop instead of GameStop.
