Because of some issues experienced the previous while driving , the snowy weather & mountain driving we decided to have our vehicle looked at before continuing our travels to NC.
I called VMS & the person answering the phone wasn't sure if they could look at it so took my number & called me back saying YES.
The vehicle required work that would take 3.5 hours. To avoid having to sit there with 2 dogs we decided to rent a hotel for the night. The owner, Kevin, found a nearby hotel and his daughter drove us to it because she wasn't going to let us ride in his "nasty old truck". LOL. I gathered a few items from the van to pass the time until our vehicle was brought back to us at the hotel when the brakes were finished.
After taking it for a test drive we got a call saying it also needs a master cylinder which they couldn't get until tomorrow so the owner, Kevin, came back to the hotel to bring me back to the shop to gather meds, dog food, & other needed items. He offered to take me to a store if we needed anything and drove me back to the hotel & will bring us the vehicle when finished.
People in this town are lucky to have this awesome business.”
