During a short stay in West Virginia, We came across this diner which has the best pie! We were lucky enough to order the entire pie for pick up the next day ... she (the baker) has great talent!

Food is fair to middlin' although their special Barbecue ribs once a month are THE best. The sides with the ribs: beans and slaw - are very good. Service is good.

Had lunch here in drive through town, full fresh salad bar, and various homemade soups and sandwiches. Vegetable beef soup was delicious with tender beef and fresh cut vegetables. No room for the pies which looked amazing and nine different varieties the day we visited. I'm still thinking about the vegetable beef soup it was that good.

Beyond the common experience of buffet eating. If your in the area you must try this buffet. You will not be disappointed. They have also added a bar next door and Brooke is an amazing bartender so make sure you stop in and have a drink!

April 20, 2019 - another great “McAllister Easter Dinner†around 36 in attendance hosted by Pickaway Pickins! They did a great job! We love the fact there is space to share time with, great buffet bar- everyone finds something they love! The roast beef and fried chicken is our most favorite! Not mention home made pies (which you can order in advance for carry out)! If you family gatherings have out-grown your dining room as our have we highly recommend this restaurant! Hope to see you in September!

Stopped here on a trip to the livestock market nearby. The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting in the greenbrier valley. My father in law and I seated ourselves and were greeted by a friendly waitress. Most of the patrons were likely locals but everyone seemed pleasant. We ordered the dinner buffet, which consisted of grilled bbq chicken, meatloaf, Mac n cheese, cabbage, beans, scalloped and mashed potatoes, and an apple fritter type dessert. All the food tasted great and the price wasn't too high. $12.99 for all you can eat. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through the area.

The buffet is perfection.. probably the best scalloped potatoes and peanut butter pie I've had. Thanks for the comfort food and the casual environment!
