Closes to early and according to employees their district manager makes them shut down the West Virginia lottery machine a half hour before closing, I constantly have to go to another store up the road for anything.

Just stopped in blackbear with my mentally handicapped client. She bought her a pack of 50 cent off cigs. The guy told her to give him a dollar. I figured it was to give her the 100s that she wanted. We got home and she pulled out her cigarette and they were shorts. He stole her 1.00. today is 6 30 19. We were there between 11: 30 and noon.

I stop here daily for the dunkin donuts part of the gas station. This morning I needed a couple of things from the actual store tho, one thing I needed was a car charger. After I paid for it & was handed the receipt I asked "is this the receipt I use to bring this back if it doesn't work?" The cashier said "no." I said "not to return it but to exchange it." Again she said "no." Then added "all sales are final, there's a sign up saying so". I go to look for the sign and first of all you have to be 6 feet tall to see it, which I'm barely over 5 feet, & second of all the sign was hidden behind a mirror! You could barely see half the letters! Now I completely understand not wanting people to buy something & return it to a convenience store but to not exchange it if said product doesn't work?!?!?! That to me is a scam. How am I supposed to know it won't work until I try it?? So basically you're out $15-$20 if you buy it and it doesn't work. I don't know about you but I really don't want to lose that much. Had I seen the sign or been told PRIOR to being handed my receipt I would NOT have bought it. I would love to be able to share the picture I took of the "signage" that was up!

The guy that works in this store is rude. How they have a 5 Star is beyond me unless the employees are rating this and cheating. The manager is mean to his customers and has no respect for anyone not even his employees. I'm turning him in to BBB because of what he has done again and again to my husband. We live right down the street so we go there daily, its pretty bad we can't get what we need when he is there in the morning. He needs to be gone or the company shut down.
