You don't always need a self storage place, but if you do and are in the area, I strongly recommend Jewell's. Clean, accessible, and both easy to start up with and easy to conclude your business. Worth your time and money if you have the need.

Was a great place for short term storage. Had an issue moving my daughter from Tennessee up to Cumberland MD. The appartment she expected to move in to didn't work out and we needed a place to unload the truck and store her stuff until she could find another place. Jewell's had a unit available (thank goodness). They were super easy to work with and made the whole process hassle free. Did everything online and got a unit the same day. They even supplied a new lock.
One thing to note: If your coming in with a large truck just be aware that the most direct access to the storage facility has a height restriction of 11' 11". My truck was 12' 7" so I had to drive a considerable distance out of the way to avoid the limited height bridge and underpass.
Accessing the unit was easy and the unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived.
I've never rented a storage unit before. I guess that no electricity, no lights are normal but it would have been great to have had a light for unloading after dark and a place to plug in a fan. Of course we had to be moving on the hottest days so far this year. Got her moved in to her new place today.
Thanks again Jewell's. Hope I never need you again.. lol ?

Great communication and quick responses from the company. The unit was super clean, and they even supply you with a free lock. I was charged an additional month by mistake and they got back to me within the hour to apologize and let me know they'd refunded my money, and valued me as a customer. They have an easy website to set up online payments and message the business if needed. Great small business and would definitely recommend them in the future.

My husband and I were needing a storage unit for a few months while we renovated our home. After hours of searching and talking to different owners of storage units. We decided on Jewells self storage. We are/were not disappointed. The owner was friendly, respectful, responsive and knowledgeable. Once we rented our unit we found it to be super clean not only in the unit but around the units also. We would rent from Jewells again in the future.

Jewell’s Self Storage is a very clean, secure and convenient location to downtown Cumberland. The units are pest free! My father used this unit for his treasures when he moved to an apartment without storage. He could go to the unit and know his treasures were safe. I highly recommend Jewell’s for anyone needing some storage space.

Really clean units with moisture barrier in/under the floor, Very friendly staff/owners and quite reasonable price for the various sizes of units the have.

The people here are extremely nice and helpful. They certainly helped us prepare for our daughter’s wedding by offering the perfect size storage unit. The unit was extremely clean and easy to get to.

A very positive experience with Jewell’s Storage. The units are very clean and Mr Jewell has been very helpful with all our needs. He has security cameras all around so you have that assurance that your unit is safe. I have used a unit for almost a year now to store my Aunts items. I highly recommend Jewell’s Storage.

Rented off JSS for more than a decade. Units are clean and there has been no issues. Security is top notch and communication efforts are effortless. Should I need storage services again, this will be the first and hopefully only number I will call.
