“I called ACT Auto Repair in the morning to ask about getting a car inspected before buying. Linda was incredibly helpful and said to come in anytime except during lunch. I brought the car over, and Chad conducted the inspection.
Chad was thorough and honest, walking me through the key issues I needed to know about. He pointed out that the front brake pads and rotors needed replacement, along with two back tires.
Initially, I was unsure about buying the car, but after Chad reassured me it was a solid choice despite these issues, I felt more at ease. Unfortunately, the small local dealership agreed to fix only one of the problems and didn’t even acknowledge the other. As a result, I decided against purchasing the car.
However, when I'm ready to buy in the future, I’ll definitely return to ACT for assistance. It's hard to find an honest and trustworthy auto shop these days, but I’ve found one! Thank you, Chad and Linda, for all your help—it's greatly appreciated!”
“My car was hit in a hit and run - I thought it was fine and I was just being cautious by taking it in to get checked for frame damage at the recommendation of a friend. Well, good thing I did. Josh and his team at Donnie’s were kind enough to look over the car for no charge and were able to let me know that it was NOT in fact safe to drive as I had thought, there was extensive pillar damage and the car ended up being a total loss. They worked with my nightmare of an insurance company and guided me through the whole process step by step, making it as quick and painless as humanly possible. The whole shop is full of amazing and kind people, but Josh especially is full of knowledge and knows the ins and outs of the insurance part of the business extremely well. Hope I don’t have an experience that puts me in this situation again, but if I do I know exactly where I’ll be taking my car. Cannot say enough good things about them.”
“Bob made my car look like new again after a dealer service center messed up the paint. He thoroughly explained everything and knew the process of repainting the specific part as soon as I came in. Insurance took a while to approve the claim but he was understanding and did a great job. Coming back here again for sure.”

“My husband and I took my husband's truck here to get the transmission rebuilt.. John kept us up to date on everything going on. When we went to pick it up it ran fine then 2 days later the transmission got stuck in 2nd gear. We contacted John and he got my husband's truck back in immediately and fixed the issue. (It was nothing to do with the work that was done, it was just a defective part) He replaced it again, and the truck has been running great ever since. Very nice guy! Definitely recommend him to everyone that needs work done on their transmission.”

“can’t say enough positive things about this tire shop.here is the story. my friends and I had been on a road trip and last night, we got a flat tire. We found ourselves in this town. (side note-everyone in this town has been so friendly.)The triple A guy who came to rescue us late at night in the rain, told us the best place around was Dinsmore Tire.We showed up when they opened at 8am. They had a used tire for us and quickly changed it. So impressed with the service, and the price. Fifteen minutes later, we were on the road again.If I’m ever stranded near Morgantown again this is where I would go!”

“A few weeks ago, I was driving across the US in the course of moving house from the west coast to the east coast. On a Sunday, my Toyota Corolla's manual transmission gave up on me & stranded me on the side of I-68. I called AAA, but had to give some destination to tow my vehicle to. The only thing open that was at all close was the NTB in Morgantown, West Virginia.
After their diagnostic exam, NTB confirmed my suspicions that the issue was my clutch, & were upfront with me that they didn't usually do that kind of work. They said a technician was coming in on Monday who might be able to fix it, but parts would need to be ordered. I took a motel for the night, & Monday morning I called a bunch of other repair places I found on google, but either they didn't do that sort of work, or they were busy for the next few days or next few weeks. When I talked to NTB, they said they could get my car fixed by the end of day Tuesday, so I made a quick decision & signed the paperwork.
It wasn't cheap, but it did get me out of Morgantown & on to my final destination with no more transmission issues so far. The staff at NTB were professional at all times while also being kind & understanding of my odd situation. 100% would recommend this place!”
