My recent experience at Ameritech was incredibly disappointing. I brought my car in for an inspection after previously being presented with a list of recommended repairs to pass inspection. Upon review, I found their pricing to be exorbitant—$100 for a cabin air filter that I purchased for $20 at AutoZone and installed myself in minutes, thanks to a YouTube tutorial. The same inflated pricing applied to a simple engine filter and two light bulbs, which I replaced independently for a fraction of their quote.
During my visit, I also mentioned a crunching noise coming from my front tire. Despite test driving and consulting with their mechanic, the office attendant insisted the noise was actually from loose seats in my back, which was completely untrue and quite insulting. This misleading comment was unnecessary and undermined my trust in their expertise. I truly must've had "Idiot" written across my forehead for them to think I would assume "loose car seats" would imitate a crunching sound coming from my front tires. I could FEEL it in the steering wheel. Absolutely insane.
After addressing all items from their repair list independently and returning for re-inspection, I was disheartened to learn they failed my car for new issues they claimed had emerged, despite no prior mention. It's clear their dissatisfaction stemmed from my decision not to spend excessively at their shop this time around. At least that's what I took away from it. Especially after the "Does your husband do the work for you?" Comment.
Overall, this experience has left me thoroughly disappointed. While I once valued their service, I can no longer consider myself a loyal customer. I intend to inform my friends and family, many of whom have also used their services, about my recent encounter. It's regrettable that what was once a trusted shop has fallen short of expectations.

A good friend recommended Ameritech, so I called them when getting quotes for a bunch of fluid exchanges and new tires. Their prices where competitive with the dealership and other local shops. I appreciated that they took time to talk about the pros and cons of the various maintenance items on my list, and that they took the age and service history into account. Specifically for the transmission fluid. Another shop (and dealership) recommended a full fluid flush. However, since it hadn't been done before and the vehicle was already at 100k miles, Ameritech recommended only doing a drain and refill, not s full flush.
They originally thought it might take two days for all the work, but ended up knocking it out in one. Everyone was polite and professional.

Squeezed me in for a State Inspection on a very busy day on the last day of the month after I went to 5 other inspection stations that told me they didn’t have the capacity.
Extremely professional courteous staff. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with the service provided by Ameritech staff. They not only have mechanics who are very competent, regardless of the make and model car, but the service advisors can explain what need done using everyday language. Often they have saved me money by informing me the car didn't need parts replacement yet! Yes, I trust Ameritech and have found a reliable place to return to for car maintenance.

Ameritech Tire & Auto is the place to go for service. Great staff, friendly customer service, and no hard sales or pushing to get unnecessary work done. Donna in the front office is so pleasant and works hard to get you scheduled based on your needs and availability. Ameritech is full service and can handle any automotive need.

I showed up at the garage, to set up an appointment, to get my brakes and rotors changed. They were actually able to take care of them that afternoon! It only took a short time, and my car was ready. Pricing was a pleasant, and welcome surprise. Everyone there is friendly, took very good care of me, and my vehicle. I will definitely be a repeat customer, and I highly recommend them.

What stood out the most was their remarkable mechanical aptitude. These guys…
Trans went in my Jeep Wrangler. Jimmy must have made 20 phone calls to the dealership and the warranty company on my behalf. They finally covered it. Once Ameritec got the go-ahead, I got the call 12 hours later that Ande had finished up and the Jeep was ready for pickup.
I will never not recommend Jimmy, Ande, and the entire Ameritec staff for their professional, timely, honest, and accurate work…..
And as a former professional mechanic, I’m a pretty tough one to please.

Ameritech has become the only shop I use for my auto repair needs. The staff is very friendly and they keep you informed as to what they are doing and what is needed. The work is professionally done and their prices are fair. Of course everything is expensive now, but after comparing prices elsewhere, Ameritech's prices have been right in line if not a bit better. I will be using them for all my auto repair needs.

Fast service. Only went for inspection but the tech reconnected a hose that had fallen off my washer fluid pump for no charge.
