Last weekend was my first time at Roseland. I have been to many other campgrounds and this is now my favorite one. I had such a fun time! It is so beautiful and the staff was so helpful and nice.

This place has the perfect environment for guys to be comfortable and relaxed. This is our first year here, and we have been twice already and plan for many more. This place has become one of our favorite places to go, and it just feels like home when we're there. If you're looking for for a nice relaxing weekend away you have to choose here because you will definitely be going back. The staff and owners are some of the most nicest people you will ever meet. Thanks Roseland for an awesome home away from home.

Have spent the last 2 weekends at our new home away from home. Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life. The staff and owners are by far the best and know how to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Looking forward to many more trips and eventually having a place of our own!

I make at least one trip here every summer. Holiday weekends are always jam-packed with a fun crowd of guys. I recommend July 4th and Christmas in July weekends in particular. For a quieter time, plan to go on an off-weekend.Staff has always been friendly and does their best to make every stay enjoyable.I tent and prefer to stay on East Ridge. The grounds are huge and accommodate tent-campers, cabins, and small campers. The owners continually invest in their property to keep things fresh. I’ve never had a bad camping experience here, even when it’s poured rain.Food & drinks: The frozen drinks at the pool will having you singing and dancing

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Roseland Campground for the first time, and I must say it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. I can confidently say that I will definitely be returning in the future. This campground offers a great getaway for those seeking relaxation and outdoor adventures. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting the friendly people at Roseland Campground. Everyone was welcoming and eager to strike up conversations, making it easy to make new friends. It's always refreshing to be in an environment where people are open and sociable.I also appreciated the convenience of being able to keep our tabs open for the duration of our stay. It was nice not having to worry about carrying cash or cards around the campground, as we could simply charge everything to our tab. This added touch of convenience made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff at Roseland Campground deserve special mention for their outstanding hospitality. They were always friendly and attentive, making sure that we were having a great time. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the guests' satisfaction and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The facilities at Roseland Campground were clean and well maintained. I was particularly impressed by how quickly and efficiently the cleaning was done. It's clear that the staff takes pride in their work and strives to provide a pleasant environment for all visitors.During our stay, we opted to stay in the Deluxe Cabin. While it was a bit of a walk to the pool area, it offered a peaceful and quiet retreat after a long day of activities. I especially appreciated the small shower facility on the patio, as well as the sink in the room. These added amenities made our stay even more comfortable. The cabin itself was equipped with a small fridge and microwave, which came in handy for storing drinks and preparing quick meals. It's always nice to have these conveniences when staying away from home.In terms of dining options, the food at Roseland Campground was rather basic, with options like bar food such as pizza and tenders. However, there was also a dining room that offered a fixed daily menu for a small fee. While the menu wasn't overly extravagant, it provided a great opportunity to dine and mingle with fellow campers. One of the standout features of Roseland Campground is the gorgeous view from the higher areas. We went on a hike and were treated to breathtaking scenery, which was a fantastic way to start the day. The natural beauty surrounding the campground is truly a sight to behold.Overall, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the staff at Roseland Campground for making us feel so welcomed and ensuring that we had a truly enjoyable experience. From the friendly atmosphere to the well-maintained facilities, this campground has left a lasting impression. I highly recommend Roseland Campground to anyone seeking a memorable getaway with friendly people and beautiful surroundings.

We arrived at Roseland on Friday June 23rd. When we checked in we were greeted by a guy named Matthew. He was beyond sweet and helpful. He gave us very helpfulInformation about the campground and really made us feel at home. Our room was the Sewing room that was located in the restaurant. The girl working there was so nice and friendly. She introduced herself as LaLa and we had great conversations with her. So as you can see we were there for 15 mins and already felt at home and that everyone here treats you like family. The room was so spacious and clean. The whole weekend was full of fun activities, meeting new people, going to the pool and just relaxing. When these reviews say how the staff and guests are so nice, they are not kidding. Every single person we interacted with wether it was staff or guests were so nice and helpful. The drinks are very reasonably priced and The bartender Jaye was so sweet and always patient with all guests. Michele and Sam who worked the bar were so laid back and funny. They even have a black cat named Casper who is so friendly and sweet. We checked out on Sunday and were sad to leave this amazing establishment. We were nervous about the drive home and when Michele checked us out she gave us crystal clear directions that were spot on. We never really did a camping vacation but needless to say we already booked 2 more trips to Roseland and look for many many more fun times there. This is probably one of the best vacations we have ever been on!!!!

A bit of a lengthy drive for us but it was amazing. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Every inch of the grounds and amenities is exquisitely maintained. Looking forward to visiting again!UPDATE!Well it's been 4 years since our first visit there and we have been back every year since. (sometimes multiple times a summer) Can't imagine a summer going by without at least 1 trip to Roseland. They keep making improvements and it just gets better every year!WELL.... NEW UPDATE!It would seem that last year's visit is most likely going to be our last visit there. Due to work schedules and the distance for us to drive we were not able to come in on Fridays and we always booked Saturday through Tuesday or Wednesday. Well this year they made it a rule that you have to book two days on the weekend meaning you have to book Friday if you want the weekend. I understand they gotta do what they think is best for them but this doesn't work for us. Sad.

If you have any issues (or in my case a true phobia) of communal bathrooms I don't recommend this place. The campgrounds are absolutely beautiful and I had a great time unfortunately they don't have any private restroom facilities and I was unable to use the restroom for my entire visit. I was informed that 8 of their cabins have private bathrooms so on the 1st of the year which is the first day you're able to begin booking I logged in and reserved a cabin but I was informed the next day that all of the cabins with a bathroom were already booked ? obviously that means they hold them for their regulars which is great if you're a regular but if you're someone like me that doesn't have any other options it just means I can't go during any of the times that my friends will be visiting. I would recommend the place if they had private bathrooms or an option to fairly reserve the cabins with bathrooms but as it stands I do not recommend this place. Sadly.

D.R.A.M.A. I experienced the "dark side" and lost friendships for their mistake.I went to this campsite for years, had a great time. Two visits ago, my ex used his card on my account to cover the expenses and on my last visit when making the reservation, they asked to used the card on file, I said "yes" not knowing his card (in a different person's name), was on my account. Half way through my trip the owner politely pulled me aside and informed me my ex contacted them about his card being charged. I immediately gave them my card, paid in full, and enjoyed the rest of the vacay. JUST TO BE CLEAR: I did not have or use another person's CC info, THEY STORED AND USED MY EX'S CC NUMBER. NOT ME. They asked if they could use the credit card on file, I said yes, that's it!.Anyone with a normal since of business would have ended the issue here. I paid over $700 for a campsite and even tipped 20%, I am am stand-up guy and have no ill-will or malintent. I have a good job, no need to steal AND I DIDN'T.But....I found out i'm banned for life when planning a quick get away as I made a reservation. So I thought it too extreme but I moved on. I used to come there every summer and never once had any issues and I love to camp but there are other places, FINE. I will take my business elsewhere.HERE'S WHERE IS GOES TO A DARK PLACE:After telling me that I was banned despite the fact I paid them more than every dime and did no harm, THE OWNER WENT AND TOLD MY FRIENDS THAT I WAS A THIEF! The owner went to my friends' camper and read him over my association with him and proceeded to tell him that I was a bad guy and he didn't want people that associated with me in his camp.I have no doubt that my ex, Nicholas Chehade, called and told them off about charging his card and probably lied/told stories... but he is my ex and he did know that he used his card the prior year under my name and knew how this happened. I did not know his card was on my account and it was THEIR FAILURE to remove it.If you don't want my business, I will take it elsewhere. That's enough punishment. Don't further my suffering by SLANDERING me to my friends. Falsely claiming someone is a thief is illegal and it caused a my old friend to never speak to me again. The owner created a spectacle of this and if they double down on it... you are inviting that into your life if you still go here.A good friendship is priceless and gone forever because of this guy--not what I signed up for. You are paying for an expensive campsite that could damage your social capital because OF THEIR MISTAKE.I regret deeply ever coming here. That's honestly what happened, I don't get it.

I didn't know it was possible to remove reviews, but aparently they did and it only shows me that I struck a chord. Here's the original review:D.R.A.M.A. I experienced the "dark side" and lost friendships for their mistake.I went to this campsite for years, had a great time. So I thought it too extreme but I moved on. Its what occurred after:The owner went to my friends' camper and read him over my association with him and proceeded to tell him that I was a bad guy and he didn't want people that associated with me in his camp. I have no doubt that my ex trash talked me but he is my ex and he did use his card (with a different name) on my account. If you don't want my business, I will take it elsewhere. Falsely claiming someone is a thief is illegal and it caused a real dent in my friendship so be aware, you are paying for an expensive campsite that could damage your social capital because OF THEIR MISTAKE.So the friend has parted ways with me because of this and that is why I am writing this-- they ruined a friendship. That's honestly what happened, I don't get it.

If you read the reviews here, it is easy to see they lack customer service and have trouble dealing with difficult situations. Instead of understanding negative reviews, they blast their customer. So wrong. It is a shame that the owners have such little desire to fix or resolve the issues. Instead of being flexible and attentive to meet or exceed their customer's needs. The sad thing is this place is nice, but the ownership is hideous. As long as you stay away from the owners, you will be ok. So that is my advice. if you decide to go.I am waiting to see their derogatory response.Update: They sure were quick to blame someone (the wrong someone) for their lack of customer service. All in all it only proves the original point of the review: the queens who run this place are vicious and extremely difficult to deal with in a bad situation. Don't just take my word for it, there are many other reviews that say the same thing and Roseland's response is to attack and blame. If you notice, I am not the only person to feel this way!Update 2: Matt, you really need to learn some better customer service skills. Read the reviews that people leave that are negative and think about what you could have done differently. There is a common theme among your complaints and it boils down to how poorly you treat your 'guests'. It really is not becoming of someone who wants to maintain a successful business, because eventually the negativity will take over and destroy it all.
