All I will say is:
So very glad I didn't get my car worked on there!

So, a mixed bag.
Let's start with the good.
After some vandalism to my Lincoln when the car was returned it looked great. All the body work was flawless. So what's not to love? Well . . .
First off we chose Wharton's in part because it was preferred by our car insurance company. So fine.
The wait from the time we called to get the first appointment for the repairs was 7 months. I thought they were joking. Nope.
So fine, we wait 7 months and take the car in. We're told it will be there at least a couple weeks. Seemed long but OK.
Over a month later, still no car. Various reasons given.
Finally vehicle returned 6 weeks after it was taken in. As mentioned it looks great. However, despite my request that they make sure everything worked before returning it (windows, lights, etc.) one of the windows didn't work and the horn - which worked when we took the car in - now no longer works.
I'm certainly not taking it back for another month + long stay for those repairs.

Friendly service and they did a great job. I especially appreciated the detail cleaning when I got my car back.

I wanted a ballpark estimate on a dent in my car's front panel. I had used Wharton before and was satisfied. They ALWAYS came out, looked, gave a ballpark estimate, then did quality work. I was told what door to go in across the street and that someone would tell me approximately how much it would cost. Just like before so far.I went in, the workers were laughing in an office somewhere. I waited. No one came out so I rang the desk bell provided. A girl came out, slapped her hand over the bell (as if the tinkle were rupturing her eardrums) then asked what I wanted. I told her. "Do you have an appointment? (asked with all the courtesy someone with no courtesy could muster) "No." I never had to have one one before. In fact, NO body shop in the past required an appointment (unless PERHAPS made via insurance claim -- which this wasn't, not that she asked). Plus, I had just been told to ask for a ballpark figure when directed to the right door.I said, "Forget it."Now she goes into passive aggressive mode, sarcastically (as sarcastically as someone who thrives on sarcasm in a customer service job could muster) hitting me with, "Have a nice daaaa-aayyyy."This treatment is uncalled for, but seems to be the new norm after COVID, where now few want to work and customers are mere annoyances between paychecks.

Customer service was outstanding. Took the time to assure my car was fixed by a certain date.

Couldn’t do the job correctly the first time. Secondly when you call them out on it they do not like it and get rude with you. Secondly when they have your car for over a week they don’t want to talk to you on the phone to let you know what’s going on with your car. Again not very professional with their attitude with customers. Customer service is lacking and work is mediocre. Will definitely not be using again.Service: Painting

Got an estimate of $500.16 to fix my truck bed. Dropped it off on a Monday for repairs to be done. Got a call on Wednesday that they were just now getting ready to start on it and it was actually going to be $1600 to fix. When I asked why I was told “there is a piece of the bed crossmember broken and missing”. Told them that’s exactly how it was when I brought it down for the estimate. Was told “we thought it was just cracked not actually broken and missing. You can see the piece is missing just kneeling by the rear tire and looking so obviously no one even looked at it for the estimate. Somehow they just “thought” it was cracked. I can understand estimates being just that but normally they are very close when someone actually takes the time to look at the vehicle. You should never be three times more for the fix than what the estimate is!! I would never recommend this body shop to anyone
