A couple months ago two salesmen, I presume, stopped by my house while I was at work and just so happened to catch my wife and daughters outside playing. This I think third time in past year someone from optimum has come by and tried to persuade us to switch from CAS to them. As before my wife politely declined and told them we was happy with what we had and that we DID NOT want to switch. She NEVER signed anything or gave them permission for ANYTHING. Maybe a week later we received a modem and self install instructions in the mail from OPTIMUM and what was supposed to be our first bill with them. Thinking is was a mistaken address or something we tried to call and correct it with them but they said we has signed up for it. The equipment that optimum sent us was never unboxed and took back to them. They are still trying to make us pay a bill to them we should have never had. Why is it okay for whoever that salesman was to falsify and/or forge my wife's ssignature saying we wanted to switch when in fact she nor I ever did?

Leave for work, internet goes out. Call support, they can't do anything unless I am at home to reboot router. What if I was away for longer than 8hrs?? Fix the problems we pay for you to fix!! It shouldn't be up to the customer to fix a problem we didn't create!!! I have cameras for a reason and now have no access to them until I can go home and fix the issue myself! Do I get paid for this??

Our Internet went out. We called to report that there was an outage. They told us there were no reports for an outage in our area. Well there is now, from us. They told us they did not know why we did not have Internet, but they would send someone out. In two weeks. So. We do not recommend Optimum. T-Mobile can send us a box in a few days and Frontier can send out a tech tomorrow.

These two men with Optimum came to my complex tonight. I have never heard more profanity and talking disrespect about customers in my life. These guys couldn't say 3 words without one of them being profanity. Don't know who's doing the hiring but this company needs to do better. Totally unacceptable behavior and in no way professional since they were doing it in public for all to hear. They were so loud and obnoxious that I could hear practically everything they were saying. I was so glad when they finally left.
