I bought my daughter heelys from shoe dept encore in Parkersburg WV and my daughter tried them on they were not as described in the online post. I ordered them to the store from online. I took them into the store to exchange or return them as these were her only school shoes. The employee said they would not return them and when I asked for corporates number she said she would not give me it, I asked for her name and she said she doesn't have to give that either. So I said ok I'll just contact corporate and leave a bad review. That's when she tried to grab my arm and stop me from leaving. Mind you I have my 9 month old in a stroller, my 10 year old and 8 year old. She followed me trying to tell me I could not leave the store because I took a picture and luckily my husband came up then she stepped back. This is so upsetting the cameras need to be reviewed at the store and she needs fired!!
I barely got a picture of the worker. This is so upsetting to my children as well

Employees are always super helpful and friendly. Store is uncomfortably hot though. After only a few minutes I was sweating and left before I bought anything.

My experience was wonderful. Tyrell Ellis was patient with me and showed me different shoes after I told him what I liked, didn't like, and how I needed the shoe. I will return back to that store for shoes again when needed. He asked if we part of the loyalty program and got me signed up. The store has a nice selection of shoes. Highly recommend to anyone. Customer service is WONDERFUL!!!!

Thank you for your great customer service today Bridgette. When you was asked/told by the younger coworker to deal with a return instead of taking care of the customer right in front of you, you took care of the customer in front of you. Thanks for not walking away and caring about the people in front of you. You have great customer service.

Tony and I went here today to purchase him a pair of Steel Toe Sketcher Tennis Shoe Style for his work. They were not only a Great price of $80, it was also tax free weekend...and I joined their reward program and earn savings for my next purchase.The shoes were exactly what he needed and wanted for work. Definitely will go back here again. Large store, helpful staff and great prices. Recommend highly!!!

I went to this shoe department and my 3 kids and their friends were looking at boots. I noticed some nice fancy looking boots. These boots got my attention. I keep going back to the boots and the price was 20$ in the clearance section. Son kept saying get it mom. mMind you, the price tag was the only thing that was on the box. It also had one boot for the right side and they keep the other outback. It fit nicely. Now, I decided to go ahead and purchase this nice set. I go to the front. Blow almost 200$ in the store alone. Thought i could retire my old boots at home. My son points out writing, infact all the boys do. It wasn't there before. It was descriptive on 2 different sizes. As I said the writing wasn't there before, I wouldn't have wasted money on a mismatch, I AM OCD. I would have noticed and I definitely wouldn't have purchased it. I took a retake on what happened. I know my kids and I was back in the clearance, the box definitely didn't have the writing. The label on the box, the shoe size label changed from an 8.5 to a 7.5. I remember placing the 8.5 on my right foot, not a 7.5 on my left. Be aware, they will con you. They will lie and change boxes. I am ocd and I remember this clearly when all this happened. The man even hid the words written on the box towards him so I wouldn't notice. It worked. I didn't notice until we walked all the way home. They are dirty, be careful. Make sure you take a picture of the box so they don't do to you like they have done to others and myself. Be on alert. They will rob you clean if given a chance. Always check your purchase. Do not trust them and please spread the word they do this and not many are speaking up.

Does not deserve one star. Bought a pair of shoes, and had one month. I wore this maybe 5 times, and the soles completely fell apart. I attempted to return them, but was told I could not return to the store, I had to contact the manufacturer. Very poor customer service!

Came here because Shoe Carnival was imposing a forced face mask requirement and I gotta say glad I did. The gentleman Tyrone “hope I’m spelling that correctly”help me and my fiancé check out and he was awesome. Had a small problem with my purchase and he was quick to resolve the issue. Will definitely be going back for future shoe purchases.
