My dad was brought to ER by ambulance ( magistrate told us to call EMT and bring him to Camden Clark). He is violent, threatening to kill himself, etc....he has dementia w lewy bodies. My mom is POA and nurse was asking him questions....of course he's going to say something different because he doesn't know where he is let alone what he said 2 min ago! There are ZERO HR representatives available during the night or weekend....this is terrible patient care! EMT even told nurses why they were bringing him in, and they were ignored.

Nurses are great, doctors are ok, staff in the cafeteria is rude and lazy. not only have I been shamed for how much food I wanted (im pregnant) but cashier (older woman) was very rude because I didn't ring up my items for her. Didn't realize it was my responsibility to do her job. Have also overheard another worker (older woman) being extremely rude to a younger female worker because she was a few minutes late. Service staff is unbelievably rude and unprofessional.

My mother was admitted to the ICU at the end of her life. As we rushed to get to Parkersburg, she was transferred to 4 North to await our arrival. The staff went above and beyond to make this trying time as comfortable as possible. I am so grateful for their help. I wish I could remember the nurse who helped us to thank her personally.

After getting in a car accident and calling an ambulance I was forced to sit in a hospital bed for hours after getting scans. I was in a neck brace and was extremely dehydrated. The refused to let me get water and when I begged for something saying I was incredibly dizzy they told me maybe I should have thought about that before I went there. Then they gave me two giant pills that I believe were opiates . Then just left me in my room by myself for another hour while I was about to pass out from dehydration and hunger. I tried to get up to charge my phone so I could relocate to a different hospital and they called the police who then harmed me. I ended up not getting a sip of water until nine hours later. It was pure abuse and neglect. They tried to make me walk out the front door without my purse or my jacket in the middle of winter with a dead cell phone and no way to get back to my hotel or rental car I just looked them up and they have multiple lawsuits that have been brought against them! Absolutely the most disturbing and horrific hospital out there

My hubby was admitted for 6 days due to heart attack. First 4 days he was in the heart unit and last 2 days in the general regular hospital area....it was day and night. No complaints though the newer section is nicer rooms with more room to move in. Older section needs a redo, the rooms too small for roommate
