I will never recommend anyone take an animal here for an emergency unless you want a vet who cares more about money than the animal itself... Had an emergency and instead of helping or offering other solutions for help the vet said we needed $150 up front before she would even see our animal... We went to Charleston vet and they seen us no problem at all, no money up front before seeing our baby, and they were extremely helpful so I recommend Charleston or Fayetteville vet over oakhill vet any day.

Y’all have charged a fee to the wrong person for pets they DO NOT own. Shame on your Animal Hospital.

I was refused services over an owed balance of $207 for two animals I've never heard of. I don't recommend establishments that withhold vital healthcare over imaginary slights. Your establishment can go to hell for all I care.

Had a great experience getting vaccines for our cat. Being from out of town, we had had a hard time finding a vet to get vaccines for our cat. Apparently there's a shortage bc of the surge from Covid. Either way, this place got us in, my vet and tech were amazing, got everything taken care of and even answered some extra concerns we had that we'd given up on getting addressed. Very efficient set-up and super sweet employees. Highly recommend.

when you take a dog in that has broke it's front leg. they do surgery and put a cast on it and you have to take the dog back cause the cast cut into it's leg and they billed the family over $300.00 to fix it again.

I used to always bring g my pets there. My whole family did until I seen how they gave a dog back to an abusive neglectful owner FOR FREE of charge! Yet I know of a girl who had a dog with seizures who actually TRIED to pay for her services but they wouldn’t give her enough time and her dog died of brain damage! About 14 years ago this was the best place to go. Idk when they got a new vet and new techs but no thanks now!! They don’t care about pets. They just wanted that dog back to its owner who was neglectful so they didn’t have to deal with the dog at the office Heartless and disgusting!!

They are a busy place, even though when is your turn with your patient you know they will go over everything to give a broad service and keep you on track with good, clear communication. I’ve had one of my dogs getting surgery and after care with them and they did an awesome job taking care of my boy. An applause for all the staff we really appreciate your hard work.

I have gone with my dad several times to take his dog. They are very patient and kind to the animals and explain everything they do to their animals. Dad passed away and his dog needed medicine for her eyes they were very helpful and prompt in getting it for her. In my book they are excellent.

my dog was bit by a snake and when I took him there to be seen I wanted to go into the room they told me no I cannot and I'll say yes I was, they refused to see my dog. and they said it was their policy but yet there was nothing posted on this so-called apology, but they do have a sign that says no mask no entry but guess what there's people sitting in there with no mask on. and plus the doctor that refused to look at my dog just because I wanted to be back there in the room and I had a mask on she had no problem stepping out into the lobby where people was with no mask on tell me to leave because I wanted to see in writing this so-called policy. guess what they have nothing in writing and nothing posted. And if a person walks in there that has covid-19, the virus will be on whatever pet they bring in there. so the doctor that examines the pet will still be exposed to the virus.

I love this hospital, the vets, and the staff. They’re always friendly and you can tell they truly care about your pets. They were very compassionate and empathetic when my family lost our two oldest pups and our dear horse at the beginning of the year. I highly recommend Oak Hill Animal Hospital.
