The Post Office staff has always been friendly and accommodating. I DO NOT agree with the post office box area being LOCKED and only open during business hours. I have spoken to the City Police, County Police and City Officials and there have been no reports of vagrancy or distraction of property. So what's the reason?

Went here to get a security envelope to mail a check. Employee was rude. Handed me the wrong envelope. I didn’t notice until I was in the car. Went back and they had closed no one to be seen. Still 10 minutes before the sign on door said they close.

I'm sickened by the hoops you have to jump through just to get your packages. ? Every time I send something to my family they never can just receive it without drama.

Laziest post office in WV. They do not allow you to go in and check your mailbox after 4:15 PM due to “homeless people staying in the lobby” but really it’s laziness. If downtown Charleston can let you check your mail until 7 PM, which has FAR MORE foot traffic, then Nitro can but they won’t. Oh and you can only check your mail on Saturday from 10 AM - noon. So basically, Nitro would like to say a big F**K you to the working people. Stay classy.

No access. No access. No access. This gets utterly tiring to see. If you have ANYTHING in front of your mailbox, anything at all, that requires the delivery people to have to walk around it be prepared for them to completely bypass your house. Weather may not stop the postal service, but having to walk around a box or the front of a vehicle will.
